This clip showcases my second ride on the powerful Evolved Renegade electric skateboard. Despite the challenging conditions of tall, wet grass approximately 24 inches high and soggy, sponge-like ground due to recent heavy rains in Texas, this skateboard effortlessly powers through. Remarkably, this is only my second time riding an electric skateboard, and given the impressive performance, I’m d...

      @@scienz0220 actually I do ride long boards your just jumping to conclusions and didnt read anything that has been written and commented on but that's ok . This is after 2 hours of riding and I didn't realize my legs were 100% fatigued. Think legs numb and I was just balancing for the last mile cause when you have momentum it's easy to keep your balance but soon as I slowed down and transitioned to the side walk the fire ant hill barley knocked me off balance and the oh $@$! Moment hits I have no legs under me that I am capable of moving so when I shift my weight to step my tibia snaps behind my petala before I get my foot off the board and on the ground and since legs are numb . The foot stays where it lands and finishes off breaking the leg. My other leg I have a sciatica injury so I have only 10% use of the hip abduction and foot dorsal flexion. This was my first time with a couple guys from the EUC group and I had been trying to get my core stronger so I could learn to ride an OG Sherman I picked up for 1k. Hopefully next year I'll be able to walk and ride it. This woops got me two rods 10 screws and a pulmonary embolism in a pear tree.

    Read every detail of your story and injury and my good man...I think both our comments got deleted in Dawn's comment section since I couldn't see it anymore so I'll re-post mine's here: You are a fighter and that is highly admirable but let me tell you bluntly: You are so stupid, especially choosing a form of PEV that was never designed for street usage and it uses a design built by children! Unless you are a human in prehistoric times or hard times trying your best and risking your life everyday in a moral and honest way to feed your loved ones and ensuring their survival, being a "fighter" nowadays is just plain stupid with a plethora of much safer hobbies in a controlled environment to choose from! To be honest, I can also put my name on that list of stupidity but only because it was out of a commuting rush, not a hobby! In my case, I don't shy away from challenges! Even though I crashed in my e-scooter 3 times and one of them is where I suffered the worst injury of my life (it was so stupid on my part but only because I was rushing to catch a ferry on time because the bus I got off from was late!) So for practical reasons, not for hobbies! I ride my e-scooter daily in the streets of NYC actively dodging cars and squeezing through tight traffic but at the same time, I have a headlight, scooter stem light, 3 tail helmet lights and a horn at all times and I drive defensively and think steps ahead of driver's potentially opening their doors on me! 3000 plus miles of electric scooter riding and still never been hit by a car thus far only close calls and near sideswipe by a right-turning car! Heck, I've ridden my electric scooter on heavy rains as well as snowy conditions even though there are potential potholes everywhere. You can argue why ride it on the rain or snow when there is public transit to choose from? My simple answer is, I want to eliminate as much hassle as possible as well as save a ton of time and headaches on commuting or getting to my destinations! Not as safe as public transit in some cases but you get my point for commuting as fast and efficiently as possible. I myself have a roughly 2 hour commute to my workplace each way from home but that is because it is a flexible job only requiring me to work 3, 10-hour shifts a week and pays well! So its either: 1. Pure public transit (the safe way) which will take me a bare minimum 2 hours and 30 minutes to travel (through riding the ferry). 2. Public transit (through riding the ferry) + optional electric scooter riding: 2 hours and 15 minutes bare minimum travel time 3. Two train rides (one subway and one NJ Transit ride) + REQUIRED 6-mile electric scooter ride each way: 1 hour and 45 minutes average travel time *You get my point why I am a fighter for necessities and not for hobbies yet I choose a PEV that balances safety, comfort, fun and convenience of portability! There's a reason why the electric scooter is my preferred choice of PEV whether its for commuting or recreational: The autoped was built in 1915 in NYC as roads in urban areas gradually became more paved with cement and asphalt as an alternative to bicycles due to their greater speeds yet more compact form factor for ease of storage! However, it was discontinued around 1921 due to mechanical breakdowns and what have you limitations of technology and reliability at the time. The skateboard, on the other hand, stemmed from the design of the surfboard in the 1940s-1950s. Therefore, it was a purely recreational form of personal transport NEVER designed for the street and its numerous variables in the first place! That same principle applies to e-skates today like the one that broke your leg! So what's the point of me rambling here? I am making a point that one should only be a fighter if and when necessity calls and that one must pair it with logic and reasoning under a certain circumstance. For example, one is a fighter to not shy away from challenges and learns from his lessons but is plain stupid to ride a PEV in a setting it was never designed for in the first place! At what point should one be a fighter for the hell of it be justified for the sake of exploring one's full potential and limits? Give one a robotic body with easily replaceable parts that can simply be taken to a mechanic's shop and is as good as new as long as the brain is protected under an also repairable cranium! The only condition is it matches the dexterity and sensation of any human body without any compromise or sacrifice! Give me that ability and resource and I swear to you, I will become the most fearless, risk-taking individual on the planet undertaking extremely risky habits like walking a thin line between skyscrapers and jumping and riding off near-vertical cliffs on a Mountain Bike! HOWEVER, I will still wear safety gear on top of that to the max because my logic and reasoning is strong enough to balance out my actual physical limitations. Even the toughest machines or robots with easily replaceable parts can still get totaled under those extreme circumstances if the sport goes wrong! And totaled means dead or damaged beyond repair! In other words, risk-taking and fearlessness is different from recklessness! So what's the conclusion to this dissertation that I wrote just for you and all the others here who are captivated by this experience? Time is precious and no amount of money in the world can buy a second of time. Heck, even the latest and greatest modification to your body that remotely matches the dexterity and sensation the human body experiences does not exist so being a multi-billionaire won't help in this case to achieve the solution I have mentioned earlier... To put this into analogy, you can be wealthiest aristocrat or the most loved and respected monarch in the Middle Ages but once you contract an illness considered treatable by antibiotics today but fatal if not, no amount of money or resources can save you back then as the best medical treatment involves blood-letting, herbs and all other medical pseudo-science back in the day! So it is admirable and even inspiring to be a fighter but even better if your logic and reasoning matches or exceeds your tenacity to carry out what you love best! You inspire people who take risks everyday in their lives to not repeat the same mistakes you do and in the case of ruminators like myself, analyze the folly of your choice of recreational tools given the conditions and circumstances it is utilized in! Look for safer alternatives to your hobby backed under a tried and true system with good history and track record behind it! Once the human body suffers a catastrophic injury such as what you suffered yourself, it will rarely heal back to its former might or ability which is why logical thinking exists in order to keep checks and balances into our tenacity to be fighters! Your body is your temple so treat it like its a one-time, disposable unit and use it sparingly!

      not sure small wheel scooters are any better than skateboards when it comes to injury prevention. maybe an ebike, or a large wheel scooter? the reason i'm thinking this is while a handlebar may make you feel better, in the event of a front wheel stopping you keep going forwards while the handlebar quickly disappears from under you, whereas on anything with a larger wheel farther out front you still have some support in the handlebar to push back against in the last moments before crashing, giving you valuable moments to slow down before impact, even if your upper body by that point is perhaps collapsed over the handlebar with you holding on for dear life. countless small wheel examples of the opposite happening if you look up "scooter crash compilation"

    • @chaxologist2024
      @chaxologist2024 2 місяці тому

      @@markifi Generally speaking, scooters with pneumatic tires 9 inches or above are much safer than skateboards on road usage filled with small potholes and bumps since it easily accommodates a suspension. I also uploaded 2 scooter riding videos in bumpy streets of NYC here on my UA-cam channel and trust me, the dual suspension on my scooter makes a tremendous difference in handling those potholes that would otherwise crash any skateboard or scooters with solid tires and no suspension! So far, no crashes yet on my new scooter with over 600 miles in. Best way to drive a scooter safely is very defensively and with patience. Only go fast on roads one is familiar with and in broad daylight. Only reason I went with electric scooter is its versatility and portability. Unlike a bicycle, I can easily take it inside for groceries, movie theaters and inside trains without any hassle.

    After watching this it gave me a great idea for my situation with mice in the air ducts. No fogger so i just dripped peppermint oil on the air filters. But man this fogger would be great too for homes crawlspaces, could be your new business. Id pay.

    • @ReviewThisTestThat
      @ReviewThisTestThat 9 місяців тому

      I encountered a significant issue with rats causing damage to the air ducts in my home. The extent of the damage was such that I couldn't use my air conditioning throughout the summer. Repairing or replacing the ductwork was estimated to cost around $2,500, an expense I was not prepared for. Additionally, I was concerned about the possibility of recurring damage if I fixed it immediately. To address this, I experimented with a solution which I have documented in this video. This was particularly challenging given the intense heat of the Texas summer, and the location of the ductwork in the attic. After applying my method, I didn't notice any further disturbances for about six months. I reapplied the treatment in December. This time, due to the cooler temperatures, the peppermint oil I used condensed on the surfaces, which seemed to further deter the pests and absorbed into the surfaces. In the summer it stayed mostly Aerosole. Another ongoing issue is the need for a new roof. I've been waiting for six months for the roofers to start the work (I already paid them). My next video will share my experiences and insights on this process, highlighting the challenges and my decision-making.

    • @miterbenisdurty3862

      @@ReviewThisTestThat good to know the treatment worked. Pretty much in the same boat as you. I just moved in a house in the woods and the seller didn't tell me about the mice of course. It was fine at first until I had the heat running all the time and got to the point I couldn't breath good. Vacuumed out the air ducts and it was full of mice droppings. I immediately got the most expensive air purifier and fitted filters for all the vents. Its gotten better, but still finding mouse poop in cabinets and such. I'm pretty sure the rest of my ducts are filled with piss and poop and my attic insulation is probably full of poop and I need a new roof as well which will probably cost 25k. Those little f×ckers.

    "Hello everyone, Thank you for your interest and comments on my recent video about using pure peppermint oil in a fogger to address the rat and squirrel issue in my house. It's been an effective and pleasantly aromatic journey! Here's an update: It's been five months since I first tried this method, and I'm happy to report that it's still working effectively. The absence of any new signs from our uninvited rodent guests suggests that the peppermint oil has been a successful deterrent. For those curious about the process, here's a quick recap: I used a standard fogger to disperse pure peppermint oil throughout my house. This natural method not only helped in getting rid of the rats and squirrels but also left my home smelling minty fresh for quite some time. As for maintenance, I'm planning a 're-up' session soon to ensure the effectiveness continues. This will involve a similar process of fogging with peppermint oil to maintain the deterrent effect. I know some of you have had questions about the safety and effectiveness of this method. To address these: Safety: Peppermint oil is a natural, non-toxic option compared to conventional rodent repellents. However, it's important to use it in well-ventilated areas and follow the fogger's instructions for safe usage. Effectiveness: In my experience, it's been highly effective. However, results can vary depending on the severity of the infestation and the specific environment. Longevity: The effect lasted quite a while in my case, but regular reapplication might be necessary, especially in areas with higher rodent activity. I hope this provides a clearer picture of my experience. If you have more questions or need advice on this method, feel free to comment below. I appreciate your engagement and am happy to share more insights!

      Hi @chasingmillions8584, Thanks for your question! Yes, using pure peppermint oil in a fogger worked remarkably well for me. It's been over five months now, and I haven't had any issues with rats or squirrels since I first tried this method. The peppermint oil seems to be a very effective deterrent for these critters. A few things to consider if you're planning to use this method in your place: 1. **Concentration**: Make sure to use pure peppermint oil. The effectiveness largely depends on the quality and concentration of the oil. 2. **Fogging Process**: I used a standard fogger to disperse the oil. Ensure your space is well-ventilated during and after the process for the best results and safety. 3. **Frequency**: Depending on the severity of your situation, you might need to repeat the process. For me, it's been effective for several months, but I plan to do a follow-up session soon as a preventive measure. 4. **Additional Benefits**: Aside from keeping the rodents at bay, one pleasant side effect is that your place will smell minty fresh! Remember, results can vary depending on different factors like the size of your place and the level of infestation. But based on my experience, it's definitely worth a try. Let me know how it goes if you decide to use peppermint oil in your home! Best of luck,

      Hi @lazav, Yes, it worked! I used pure peppermint oil in a fogger to deter rats and squirrels, and it's been effective for over five months now. Not only did it solve the rodent issue, but it also left my house smelling minty fresh. I'm planning to reapply soon as a preventative measure. Hope this helps! Cheers

    I had the same issue for a year since I got my 2022 Ryker. The first shop couldn’t fix it by replacing the yaw sensor but I went to another shop and they were like we have fixed 17 of them this year. So a week later I go and pick up my bike and it is all fixed. It is fixed so much I am taking it to the dragon to celebrate. It is a different bike now. BRP needs to do a recall on this. The only issue is, it cost me $1,000 to fix it.

      Man you are having a rough go with yours. Just tell them the VSS kicks in early on left hand turns only and there is a wobble in the tire. extremepropulsion.com/Showroom/Hot-Deals? Also put on a claim with BRP and the NHTSA so we can get this recalled. GMB-service

    used mine couple of years ago OK. Now when I clamp the battery terminals the wire beeps. I was afraid to plug the wire into the BEATIT battery for fear of explosion. what does the incessant beeping warn or mean?

He's not doing anything wrong in the least. Is he supposed to act like every box has an explosive inside of it???
