Did you get the default height screens? I believe they sell 9ft screens separately. Your screens look shorter than the posts.
Timi got the 9ft extended post. We didn't have extended screen before, but we do now!

Yes, this project was installed direct into concrete in Florida.
Can the slats be closed half way? Or is it fully open or closed only
It can close at any position you want.
Does the mounting brackets go into building floor joists or studs only? Outside walls of building have just the osb sheet behind fiber cement siding. Where does the brackets really attach to building?
Wall mount bracket goes into internal horizontal beam or stud!

can the wallmounting go directly into brick?
Yes, we provide wedge anchors that would be suitable for brick.
