I am trying to set mine up in my greenhouse but not sure how to keep my battery charged. Do you have a trickle charge hooked to your battery also. Can you charge it at the same time as running the heater? Thanks
Just heard the sad news, my deepest condolences to Susan and Ronald’s family.
I wish I'd have seen your channel back when I still had my allotment in Leeds, Ron. Great videos. Thank you.
Where do ulcers ve
Nice harvesting Potatoes .your hard work
I have the exact heater for my greenhouse , when i first start it I'm getting white smoke out the exhaust but also getting white exhaust smoke from the heating pipe but o ly for a minute
Whilst I applaud your efforts, if you take into account the cost of containers, the compost, the labour, and your time, compared with the price of potatoes in your local shops, the return really doesn’t seem worth it - apart from the ‘novelty’ factor. That said, I’m experimentally growing two containers worth of spuds this year - just for the amusement of it. I’m not expecting much, but all my supplies were ‘free’ so I’ll lose nothing except a little of my time if they fail. I’m not knocking you back. Just voicing my point of view.
Helo ban yêu quý,tôi rất thích khu vườn của bạn ,chúng rất đẹp và ngăn nắp gọn gang .tôi xin đồng hành cùng bạn để học hỏi kinh nghiệm làm vườn từ bạn ,chúc bạn thật nhiều sức khỏe ❤❤❤🤝.

Can’t understand what you’re saying your accent is heavy….it would be great if you can show the viewer step by step how to hook that thing up
Hi Ron! Great job on your potatoes! Thanks for sharing! You have a lovely allotment! I’m new to your channel! New subscriber here 😊 - Taryn
Just found your videos. You remind me of my upbringing. Everyone talking about how their veg is doing. And commenting on what’s eating them! I do hope Susan is ok. You sound tired so I hope you’re ok too. Keep up the brilliant work. Particularly like to see you working that ninja!
Brilliant roast dinner. What a great job. 👍
Hey Ron, how are you, i hope everything is ok...☺️🐮🐮🐮
Hi, I'm a new subscriber and have signed up for #sspc2024! Well done on your 23 harvest. 😊
Hello Ronald & Susan, you haven't been on for awhile and am hoping things are going well for you in the new year.
Here’s hoping you are both doing well Ronald say hello to Susan ❤. Have a very Merry Christmas 🤶 look forward to seeing updates in the new year, Ali 🤶🎄
Cheers Alison I will tell Susan, Have a great Christmas XXX
I saw your comment on Digwells page and remembered to check on you both. I miss the potato 🥔 reveals 🤭. But really just wanted to say hello, hope, your both doing very well and staying safe and warm, Alison 🥰🇨🇦
Great Harvest
I didn't realise you had released this vlog Ronald. I hope Susan has continued to improve. You said you were going to grow less next year, I am thinking along similar lines, I think I will concentrate on onions, tomatoes, potatoes and brassicas although I think that every year and always end up growing a variety of things 😂. Take care 😊
Pathetic.
👍👍👍
Very nice harvest of taters ya got there Mr. Ronald. So happy to hear Mrs. Susan is doing well and getting better. Good luck on your trip. Be safe my friends!
Hello Ronald & Susan, nice harvest of potatoes, you are right in growing too much if you are giving a lot away, just grow what you both need. Its always trial & error for medication & glad Susan is now on new medication & feeling well enough to go out for a walk too. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Hi did you know that potatoes are also determinate & indeterminate first early and second s are determinate so if you plant 3 potatoes in the bottom as normal you only get 1 layer of potatoes so if you plant 2 3”from the bottom at 9-3 o’clock then cover with 8” of soil then plant 2 more at 12 & 6 o’clock you will get another layer of potatoes, now the lates are different you plant at the bottom as normally and fill to the top and they will produce all they way up as they are indeterminate I hope this will help to get you and your lovely wife more potatoes yours konrad
Wow lots of potatoes in the second tub Ronald. 💐flowers for Susan
Hi Ronald was lovely to hear you sat Susan wanted to go for a walk tells me she feeling better in herself which is wonderful, Hope you all have a splendid drive and be nice to meet up and have a chat face to face , plus a change of scenery will do you both good , like you now we have the one main plot we grow enough for us easy without waisting anything.
Hi Ronald. We are so pleased for Susan, Hope you have a great and safe trip to meet up with Brian. Had a similar thing with my dad and his tablets, the doctor eventually decided to change them and wow within a few days the difference in him was amazing. What a fantastic potato harvest you had there, your small pots gave you more than two of my 30ltr tubs gave me. Take care both of you and enjoy your trip. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the update on Susan and I hope you have a safe journey to see Brian and I bet you both are looking forward to it. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Nice little update, great spuds 👍🏻
So glad to see you Ronald, I am saying the same less is more because I’m same giving away stuff all the time which isn’t a bad thing but I’d rather just do less work and enjoy it more. I’m from Manchester haven’t been back for oh 49 years 😂. Lovley Susan I’m glad your getting better and going in little trips ❤. It has been a wide range of temps here Ronald 4c to 20+ in one day. Great potatoes Ronald 👍. Have a fabulous week stay safe and be happy, Alison 🌦️🇨🇦
Wow Ronald, those potatoes are excellent! Very happy to hear that Susan continues to improve. Take care!! ❤
I hope Susan just goes from strength to strength. ❤️
well said Mags
Nice one Ron👍👍👍
"Looking rather sad" - but boy have you had some harvests from such a small area! Nice one Ron. Great spuds yet again buddy! I had to do a similar thing with my mother, some years ago, and get her tablets changed back to a previous prescription. Family knows best sometimes! Well done, sounds like you did the right thing!
You did it again Ron, your potatoes looked great specially the second one..🤗 Well done Susan, it's great to hear you getting yourself out and about. It's great that you are handling this together, stay strong for each other...🙏🐮🐮🐮
wonderful news that she was up for a walk. 🙂
Hi Susan i hope the tweaks in medicine and the pacemaker improves your health, not bad spuds Ron.👍🤠❤️🥔
a cat has recently discovered one of my deep beds for a toilet. a bit of netting should cure that. my leeks have been destroyed. i found them last week with an old padling pool over the top of them. they are now flattened ald pale because of the lack or light. it obbviously blew over the fence during the last winds. these things are sent to try our patience. lol. it was 41f thursday morning. the coldest night so far fot the back end of this year. it felt like ice in the air. i'm still waiting to find out from steve house what variety of spud he used in this years challenge. any reports of improvemnt in health are always good news, ron. look forward to see you both on tuedsay, meeting wassock to wassock. lol..................brian
Hi Brian I'm looking forward to finding out the sspc potato variety, it's the best performing potato I've ever grown, going to save some for next year if my misses ain't chipped them all😂👍 🤠
i'm fancying a go with them. competition or no competition. the results have been phenominal....................brian
@@briansgardenandpolytunnel8172 it was well worth it for me, had a good amount of potatoes. 🤠👍
Good video and keep well to your wife
@@briansgardenandpolytunnel8172do you know what happened to Ronald and Susan Brian?
Save your small ones for next year's seed potatoes.
Hi Ronald, Lovely strawberries and harvest. I am growing Berlotto beans for the first time too so it will be interesting to see when to pick them. Best gardening wishes to you both Malgosia and Nigel 🌱😊🌱💚
i would use the green one for next lot of potato growing
Thank you Stella, Take care
A good few giant spuds in there for jackets Ronald, for you both👌 enjoy, all the best SY
Some good size potatoes you got from your sspc. I've been watching Nick the Gardeners reveal too. Good luck to you all in the challenge. 🦘🦘🙂🙂Cher
Hello Ronald & Susan, its that time of year, starting to take plants out as they die off, tyding up too. Nice little harvest, your growing area is looking good. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Thank you Christine, Take care
Hello Ronald and Susan. If you don't want totally dried beans you can pod those borlotti now and freeze without blanching. Picking demi sec like this is my preferred as you can throw them in soups straight from the freezer all winter without having to soak them.
Thank you Greta, Take care
amazing work maam..
Thank you, Take care
Good morning to you both, Although the growing season is slowing down now, you are still producing some fabulous crops! Both your beans and tomatoes look great!! Take care, Annie 🐞 🐝 🌱
Thank you Annie, yes it has slowed right down now but it has been a fantastic year, Take care
