I was told they don’t have to be preheated by the appliance repair man. My question is is the cooking time less on the European convection? Seems everything cooks faster at least on the outside and then I have to turn it down
The oven should always be pre-heated, there is an indicator light on every Verona range with an electric oven that tells you when the oven has come to the desired temperature. It is also suggested the the food and cookware being used be at least to room temperature (not straight from the refrigerator or freezer) in order for the best oven consistency and even cooking to take place. European Convection will speed up standard recipe times by about 10-15% depending on oven temperature settings.
How do you adjust the temperature?
With the oven knob. There are two knobs for the oven - one is for setting, one is for temperature.
Yeah, but how do you know the oven is preheated?
There is an temperature indicator light on the control panel. The light will turn OFF when the oven has come to the set temperature.
So is it any good? Does the oven heat up accurately or leak heat? Looks nice but does it actually perform well?

How does a washer help the oven to light?
The washer allows the control knob to better connect with the ignition systems.
What is the little symbol above the dot that looks like an oven with heat coming out of it? Should this remain on the display after time is set? Thank you!
The symbol means the oven is in manual mode and can be used without programming. It should remain on as long as you wish to operate the range in a manual mode.
How do you know that you’ve turned the temperature knob to the correct temperature? How do you know the oven is preheated?
Oddly enough, when the oven light goes off, it means the oven is now preheated to the temperature you set
Anyone else’s over door seems to stay cracked open?
