coming into this program i never expected to make a vlog, which initially felt extremely out of my comfort zone but when julia brought up the idea to me i realized that capturing these moments would allow me to revisit all of the memories of the people who made this program the best 3 weeks of my life. i am extremely grateful for this opportunity and excited to share these moments with you guys because when i was debating on attending lbw i watched all of the vlogs i could find on youtube, so i hope that this video will be helpful to anyone else who is interested in this program.
i expected to learn about business and make new friends, but what i didn't expect was to bond with all of these people and form a family where we would spend every waking second hanging out, not saying goodbye for the day until 11:59pm (when we had to be back in our rooms for curfew!). this program led me to get to know the people around me so well i felt like i've known them my whole life, and the support system from wharton (rc's, teachers, staff, ta's, especially helen the security guard) made this my home away from home in the least cliche way possible. i never expected to find such genuine friends that were extremely like minded, thoughtful, and compassionate, and that gave me so much joy that people like this actually exist. i dont think i've ever smiled and laughed so much in my life and i hope to come back to this video to remind me of a special time and place that made a huge impact on my mindset and perspective on life and its possibilities. i love everyone and everything that i got to experience and spend time with during these short 3 weeks and i hope that these friendships and bonds with last a lifetime!!!!!
