Sharing some of my unimportant adventures for family and friends, and perhaps whoever else might stumble upon them. Not taking this channel too seriously.
Hike to the Bridge to Nowhere - 4K - March 2024
My only opportunity to tackle this hike also happened to be on a wind advisory day during an otherwise calm week. I arrived by 7am on a Thursday to an empty trailhead and was immediately blown away with the conditions, so I huddled in my car another hour. Gusts were hitting 50mph easily and temps reached mid 60s at the highest.
I look forward to doing this again when temps are higher and a bit more balanced so I can properly swim and enjoy the waters. When I say my feet were frozen, they seriously were. Mountains had plenty of snow still. This was fun but exhausting as I was constantly battling the elements. What a miserable lunch I had!
I edited the hell outta this since I've been sitting on it for so long - just glad to finally have it off my plate!

Hike through Santa Paula Canyon - 4K - April 2024
Переглядів 7 тис.8 місяців тому
@keithkocka Hiking the Santa Paula Canyon in the spring is absolute perfection. Water levels are typically fantastic, providing SoCal receives its winter rains. I started an hour behind schedule due to some road closures on Ojai Rd coming from CA-126, just miles from the trailhead. Instead I had to back out the way I came and take US-101 through Ventura and Ojai. Nevertheless I had a great time.

Hike through Whitney Canyon - February 2024
Bro was hurt arriving to the waterfall "i DiDnT bEaT tHe cHeAtErS"
Tough hiking but beautiful. Why were you masked? Bugs?
Just a dumb fad I picked up from watching other hikers, also hate looking at myself on video.
@@keithkocka I know the feeling.
There is nothing appealing in this hike.. ! I will stick to the beach 😊
Soo cool !
Awesome!! Love that place 🥾🥾
Nice!
This is dope! I haven’t made it to the Third Punchbowl.
Thanks dude - yeah my first few visits last year were just to the first and second but that's also because I didn't know where to go exactly since so much of the trail was completely obliterated from the storms. I went back in Nov 23 just to scope it out and it was all cleaned up. Definitely worth it when the falls get too crowded!
@@keithkockahow is the hike do you need the AllTrails map? Or is it easy to find?
@@trappeq5263 you don't need the all trails map - although I Mark every hike I do as a favorite so that at least I can view the static map with gps. I don't pay for anything. It's pretty straightforward, you either go up the creek the whole way like I did this time or eventually there's the proper trail on the right. Last year everything was washed out and I was really glad to have been able to reference the static map, otherwise I would have been delayed and/or confused.
This looks amazing my friend! Absolutely gorgeous scenery!
I'm sure you could capture it better than I! Wish I had the availability to go again soon (weekends can be extremely busy), but perhaps in the fall when temperatures cool down.
Nice!!
Love that place!! Great video 🥾🥾
Yeah, might be my favorite! Better with a partner but I won't complain solo either.
Love the Punch Bowls Right on ! 🤩🙌
