Great video. I will be aboard Humboldt Explorer in June. Can't wait! What thermal protection were you using and what camera did you use? Thanks.

Thank you--we had a great trip on the HE last May. We were on the 7 day itinerary which focused mainly on Wolf and Darwin. I think the water temps are usually a little warmer there than other parts of Galapagos. Our water temps ranged from 77F to 82F with no significant thermoclines. We wore 5mm wetsuits but could have got by with 3mm. Overall, I'd probably stick with 5mm just to be safe and take along a vest and hood just in case and especially if you are visiting other Galapagos dive locations. The HE staff can provide you more info on water conditions once you get closer in. Most of the dive videos/photos were shot with GoPros and a SeaLife camera. Hope you have a great time on your trip!

Amazing video! It's so great that you share your love for the ocean. Scuba diving is such an amazing water activity and it's lovely to see you enjoy it, keep going with these great videos. If it doesn't bother you, I'd like to give you a suggestion, a tip for the next videos: Basically, you could try inserting some comic and funny stuff... to give everyone a pinch of humor that, in the world of diving, can never be missing. Now, I don't think much of it, but the first thing I could think of in your sport might be peeing in the water. Once, my uncle, who is a scuba diver, peed in his wetsuit during a long diving session and that moment was absolutely funny, he even wrote "I’m peeing" on a waterproof notebook during the session. He has always been telling me that there are 2 types of divers and swimmers: those who pee in the water and those who lie. I know it may sound strange as a request but, in my opinion, these are moments of happiness and carefree that always make everyone smile, that's why it'd be great to include all those funny clips in your videos, if you and your diving mates want of course. I hope you like the idea and I hope you have a wonderful day! 💛💛

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for your input which is always a gift. Totally agree--this video was one of my first--I am still very much a novice photographer and editor! After I put it together, I realized I did not really have any targeted shots of my dive buddies and even some above water shots to help frame the experience. Since I have tried to do a better job on that. For instance on my Turks & Caicos video--I have a shot of my buddy doing some water acrobatics at the end of the video. Your input will reinforce including more of the whole experience and not just focusing on the fish and coral. Thanks again!👍
