Autumn saturday ride on my Aprilia Shiver 900, tricky conditions, but a lot of fun. This is my first video with external microphone so I am still learning how to record great Shiver V-twin sound, still not one hundred percent satisfied, but even tis is far better than camera microphone. Next time I will try different location of audio recorder. Enjoy ride with me!

yes, absolutely no complains about the sound. I even like the look of it, but exhaust front cover behind a footpeg sometimes touches with my foot when standing so I am considering buying a SC Project homologated exhaust instead ;-)

Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8v je krásná raritní motorka dnes již de facto nesehnatelná. Dá se sehnat ta 850 a 1100, ale to není ono. Prej má 1200 problém s vačkami, jinak se tam prej nic nesype. Už si řešil tento problém? Jak je na tom tahle motorka obecně se spolehlivostí a dostupností náhradních dílů? Díky za odpověď. Petr
Ahoj, taky bych se zeptal... nevím, jestli ses s tím setkal, ale můj Shiver 900 má tendenci přehřívat se v kolonách a při dlouhém stání (spustí se ventilátor, ale teplota dál roste), řešil jsi to? Díky David :)
Ahoj, Shiver v teple topí, to je pravda, když je horko sepne ventilátor a chvilku ještě teplota může růst (ze tří na čtyři čárky) ale po chvíli to zase kleslo na tři. Jinak pokud to málo chladí, hledal bych jestli nemáš málo chladicí kapaliny nebo jestli je OK termostat.

I put 900 on it in less than the first 4 weeks. First service was fault free. Still have not had it a month but it’s just fantastic for me. I hope you like yours!
I rode it on Aprilia days last year and I liked it instantly. Now I have mine and I have to wait till spring for the first ride :-) Till then I will make some tuning such as li-ion battery, some carbon parts, some protection parts to be ready for the first ride and for the first 1000 run-in kms. And after first 1000 I will be finally allowed to use Quickshifter. 🥳

Were you concerned about reliability issues before buying it?
Not at all, they changed the engine before delivery because it was ordered by the factory to do so, so I have the latest spec of the engine, first service in 1000 km for free and four years full factory guarantee ;-) I also received quickshifter and USB socket as a gift because I have already bought a bike (Moto Guzzi V85 TT) from the same dealership before. ;-)
@@JCermak 4 years? hmm, I'll have to check that with my dealer. I though it was 2 years full warranty
@@kecabojan Could be market specific, but here in Czech republic they offered full 4 years full warranty and the first service check for free.

Ahoj, poznal jsi nějakou změnu ve smyslu jizdních vlastností po montáži Akrapovice? Nemyslím výkon, ale chování v zatáčkách. Motor Shivera mě fakt hodně baví, ale myslím že je trochu znát vyšší váha resp. těžiště. Chystám se koupit Li-Ion baterii, tím pár kg ušetřím. Tohle je už ale docela investice, tak mě zajímá jestli to má cenu. O výkon ani zvuk mi nejde. Díky Honza
Ahoj, přesně to byla moje hlavní motivace, srazit tu hmotnost blíž ke 200 kg pohotovostní a tak jsem dal Akrapa a Li-Ionku, v součtu to dalo cca 10 kg, takže 208 kg je zcela běžná pohotovostní hmotnost. Je to znát hlavně při manipulaci na místě, motorka se snadněji ovládá v garáži. Za jízdy je Shiver v pohodě i s originálním výfukem. Jinak za jízdy je to možná trochu znát při přehazování mezi zatáčkami. Zvuk je co do hlasitosti podobný, Akrap přidává trochu basy, ale ve spojení s bavlněným filtrem je znát mnohem větší chuť motoru ve středních otáčkách, takže tato kombinace je na výjezdu ze zatáček hodně zábavná 😉

@@JCermak okay. I asked the question because I know that there is still a way to remove the baffles by removing the rivets from the carbon end caps but it suits me not to do it. I booked a used shiver with akra ;-). I have it soon ... (Sorry for my English I'm French)
