I originally started watching your videos purely because of the gaming serie you have going, but I have to say I do enjoy seeing your vlogs as well because of how wholesome they are. Relaxing day for me as well today, gathering strength to tackle new years eve the coming week 😋

Merry Christmas! Here the 24th of December is the important day when Santa visits and people celebrate, and the 25th is the Christmas day when everybody just relaxes. This year me and my fiancee will spend the Christmas with just the two of us, which is a first. We had a big Christmas dinner and we did some traditional finnish Christmas stuff in the morning, like watching the Christmas Peace Proclamation from the TV. Here the goverment announces Christmas peace midday on Christmas eve, and it's a whole ceremony and all, and anybody committing crimes after that at least used to get more serious penalties than on normal days. I'm honestly not sure if that point still stands or not.

For me the first console I played was the original Nintendo, but video games were so niche and new at that time I did not play that much. After we got the PS1 I played the demo disks alone for hours on end, and the PS1 starting animation and especially the sound always makes me feel warm inside. I hear they added an option for newer PS consoles to change the start-up animation to older ones if you want, but sadly my PS4 broke down only recently and I'm not planning on buying any further consoles since I mostly play on the PC. FInal Fantasy 7 was one of my very first games on PS1 and it will always hold the number 1 place in my heart even though games like Baldur's Gate 3 are 100 times more astonishing. It all boils down to nostalgia. Weirdly enough I did not enjoy the Final Fantasy 7 remakes at all, it just did not make sense to me to hit a bandit with a 2 handed sword weighing literal tons and the enemy just ignoring the impact to attack back.

I can understand what you mean, I find I question how much time I'm wasting on social media and like you said the impact it can have on your mental health. Will still be following you on here and enjoying your videos and hopefully run into you again at a future Card Party!

I don't really use Instagram or Twitter or all that stuff... I stick to the IndieWeb. I find that I can be a lot more intentional with how I use the internet this way, and absorb a lot less trash.

New channel name too! I'm on Facebook only, and that is mainly since most of my friends live abroad and I need one place to keep in touch with everyone, but I understand your point and agree with it. Personally I left most places that show any kind of news as I got an endless stream of distressing news around the clock, and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Sometimes less is more.

I'm not a friend of puzzles or brain-teasers. If I can figure things out in games by myself I'm happy, but I don't mind checking the solution online if I don't crack it fast enough. I think things like that word search would be fine for me, I think I have a good eye to recognise patterns.

I've recently got a PS4. Last year got an xbox one. I think both are great consoles with great games, the thing is you have to wait for a game to install and sometimes it takes a lot of time. I miss the times when you just fired up your console and started to play. I know this process is just once but for me it gets the emotion off of buying a new game

Congratulations for the new ID!

Haven't seen this game before. I played the original Zelda on NES through an emulator when I was like 11-12 years old, but never managed to finish it. The first Zelda I did finish was Ocarina of Time, and I rate that and Twilight Princess on a shared 1st place.

Charizard is the king of Pokemons, my all time favourite. When I had to make the decicion between a house plant, a squirt gun that walks and an actual dragon, guess what I chose :D
