Hello dude i need your help. how do I set my controller to 500 Hz on Xbox?
Pretty sure you need to do it on PC. But it will be 500 on Xbox after you do it
@@acfire9227 ok thanky
I know you said that they g7 Se is the better option competitively but what about the g7 he? Can you run 1000hz on the HE like you can on the SE on Xbox?
@@TheFVBIO thephototechy is my go to on YT for info like that. It’s extremely hard to test. You’d need to ask someone who has the equipment to test it, if we’re talking Xbox. If we’re talking PC it would be easy to test. I can’t emphasize enough how hard it is to test on Xbox. It’s an extensive process.
I use usb c to to usbc it can’t go about 1000hz

Won’t let Xbox gamers hit 1000hz but we can play with PC gamers than can…🤔
How do you set the x and y settings I don’t understand how for right and left stick

What's the binterval do? I honestly don't even know lol

I'm an Unreal ZB player, and I can assure you that HE sticks feel better.
1:20 You have to keep in mind that pro players receive sponsorships and free controllers.
So 500hz is the highest for Xbox? I set it to 500hz on pc and it stays 500hz when plugged in the Xbox?
Yes, it was when I made this video. Not sure if it still is. It's extremely hard to test and I don't have the ability to test it myself so I can't promise anything. I wouldn't be surprised if something has changed since then.
Hey bro I seen in one of the comments that you said you use the Tarantula pro, have you noticed any latency issues? I’ve seen a few Reddit threads saying that the response time is horrible despite the 1000hz polling rate, and I’m kind is hesitant to buy it
I play wired and I haven't noticed any issues.
@@acfire9227appreciate it brother, I’m sure people are exaggerating a little bit lol like a few milliseconds is a deal breaker 😂
I've tried many hall effect joystick controllers but they are feeling very weird. The best controller as Far as I know is Big Big won rainbow 2 it's a Chinese potentiometer controller but it's a very good one it has two buttons in the back I use left one to crouch and the right one to jump and it also has two buttons near the left and right bumpers so I use left one to change weapon and right one to interact so I don't have take off my thumb to do other things. You can also adjust dead zones of the controller by their Mobile app and it has gyro aim too.
Interesting, thanks! What's the polling rate?
@acfire9227 it has 1000hz polling rate. You don't have to overclock it.

Yes
Can I play games with the default settings or without the app
@@SOCIALMEDIAONLY-x8v lol, I think so. Probably fine to just stick with a default controller in that case.

yes, you can set multiple profiles in the Gamesir app
What I’ve read is that this controller can say 8000hz but it can’t go above 2000hz. I have a keyboard that does 8000hz but it can’t go higher than 4000hz
@@DanceBruce I’ve seen tests where people get .125ms, not sure if that’s actually 8000hz though. My theory is that perhaps Lenovo under-clocked my motherboard to compensate for giving me a 500w PSU. I’m pretty certain they under-clocked my cpu and gpu.
Flydigi Vader 4 pro. Playing BO6 with this controller made my skill level skyrocket. The Hal effect sticks with the adjustable tension made these the most accurate sticks I’ve ever used. Aiming with an AR while playing ranked makes it feel like I have a laser beam. This is comparing to the dualsense edge and the Xbox elite series 2 controllers which I also own.
What stick tension do you prefer?
@ the tighter the tension the better it is. In my opinion. I max it out on the right stick and make the left one about medium
@@TorreyCTX Interesting, thanks for the info! I personally prefer looser sticks, but I understand why tighter could be helpful.
@@TorreyCTX ooh, stick tensioner! This could be what I am looking for in driving games, loose sticks lead to figity driving. Stiffer tension would lead to smoother driving. Wonder if this controller works on Steamdeck 🤔

@@Hayate-85 Interesting. Yeah I don't really mind it so I just play with the lights off. Just un plug the controller and plug it back in that should work I think.
it will probably be defective??
you dont have to lower your max deadzone on the stick if you use Xbox Sticks, just recalibrate the controller. Lower the deadzone in the gamesettings. Raw-Mode feels shaky when the right sticks deadzone is to low, because Raw Mode offers higher increments in accelleration so if you touch the stick just a tiny little bit it outputs higher values and movement distance. I found two settings which work for me the best. 1. Circular Mode - Deadzone 2-100, linear ingame response curve, high sensitivity, / 2. Raw-Mode - Deadzone 5-100, dynamic ingame response curve , lower ingame sensitivity
That’s facts, I agree with most of what you said
so if im xbox youre telling me to use the default controller or is they’re better controllers for xbox?
If I was on Xbox I would use the G7SE at 1000hz or the Kaleid at 500hz. Default Xbox controllers are 10/10 in every way aside from polling rate. The polling rate of a default Xbox controller is 125hz which is unacceptable.
This was a great question, I didn't think to include this in the vid. My answer is only relevant if you really want a competitive advantage.
@@acfire9227 ofc, i was really conflicted on what controller to use i have both the g7se and kaleid. The default xbox controller using 125hz really is a bummer
aiming potential is really important to me cause i play console aim labs challenge’s for prize and stuff. so i appreciate the response
@@AveenQ Got it, you're definitely going to want the G7SE. But do your research on how to actually clock it to 1000hz on the Xbox. You'll need a windows 11 PC if I remember correctly. If you set it up right that controller will be way better than anything else on Xbox.

How do u find a good left stick range and right stick range range on the Gamesir G7 se?
0 and 100 are definitely best no matter what
is this with the game sir tarantula?
I prefer the feeling and tension of the potentiometer sticks the hall effects are inconsistent and the acceleration feel all over the place. i have tried all the gamesir offerings and none feel as accurate as a plain ass dual sense controller
Agreed. TMR has a chance to make a big impact but we'll see, I'd still bet on default PS sticks myself.
I drill little holes on sides and put little screws in. Undestructible trigger steps 😅
That's definitely a solid strat!
why does every youtuber pronounche the controller like khalid. it has rgb lights rthat resembles a Kaleidoscope. thats also how you need to pronounce the name. Second i think you missed the points of hall effect sticks. they are not always more accurate. and they are certainly not drift proof. they are less pronone to drift that is caused by weardown of moving components. right now hall effect sticks in controllers seem to be less precise and do drift a little out of the box. one person that know alot about how they work told me that 0% deadzone is also a lie. it is not possible. if any of the gamepad tester sites tell you the stick has % percent deadzone, then theire is most likely some software trickery going on under the hood. And drift can be caused by alot of things. but the most common occurance is because of physical parts rubbing together and just wearing down. For example a stick can also drift because of signal interference. or because of dir, or just because the recentering spring under the stick wears out. Hall effect sticks are also used in airplanes. but those are way more adganced. you dont want an airplane stearing wheel to drift do you?
Yup, spring drift is the most common by far. I'd argue that stick drift is almost always caused by spring drift, I've only ever had one controller with real stick drift.
@@acfire9227 i just thought that wear down of the resistors was most common.. not the spring. so you say that drift from the tenssion release of the spring will occur before waeardown of other parts?
@@caleasthetic Well.... it depends on your settings. On low deadzone linear/dynamic settings (AKA pro settings), any controller will have spring drift out of the box. Every brand new controller I test has spring drift because my settings are soo touchy. Note, I don't mind this drift at all. I only care what the controller does when my thumb is on the stick. Resistor drift is unbearable because the stick may go the opposite direction of your input. I've only ever had this once. It took years for my controller to develop this. That's why I act like it essentially doesn't exist. (That was an Xbox one S controller.) Spring drift is inevitable, unless your springs are too stiff, or your sticks inhumanely well centered, or your settings are too assisted. I have no problem with spring drift.
Finally someone had same opinion as me, i have been using dualshock 4 for 1 year but after my trigger button and my left analog had some issue i decided to buy new controller with hall effect analog. after few practice using hall effect controller for fps like cod and apex, i can say the controller is good honestly but it feel weird for tracking with that hall effect analog. Even that’s controller had a 0 stick drift because the “hall effect” feature i kinda feel my aim slower for tracking and not as good when im using my dualshock 4
And now im confused should i buy dualsense or gamesir controller (ngl i need paddles because my hand getting sick for playing claw grip)
@@CallMeKuR If you're on a budget, the cheapest and best option would be a ps4 controller + claw. OR + the back button attachment made by Sony, you should be able to find it on eBay for cheap. As for Gamesir controllers the T4K is very good, but the sticks are mid tier for HE. Not bad at all. Right now I'm using the Tarantula pro, it has TMR HE sticks which are extremely good. But the Tarantula pro does seem to have some durability issues with the back buttons. You'd actually be surprised how cheap a budget battle beaver can be if you only buy back buttons. Ultimately I'm extremely interested in the Hex Gaming Phantom with ALPS sticks, that will likely be my next controller. But it is very expensive.
@@CallMeKuR You need hall effect TMR stick, more speed.
@@acfire9227 Tarentula and cyclone 2 with TMR hall effect stick the best.

I knew I wasn’t the only one I have a ps5 controller with Hall effect sticks and it feels way less smooth then standard ps5 joystick potentiometers
@@vainisasidecharacter Thanks for sharing your experience, I’ve heard this a ton from people who’ve tested both extensively! Are your HE sticks TMR, or just standard HE?
My hall effect sticks on my scuf reflex fps vs my scuf reflex fps whit normal sticks is acc crazy i had to put my sens down it i was playing whit hall effects because its acellerting so fast en feels super clunky
@ yeah I hear similar opinions often. No one appears to actually prefer HE. The people who push it are casuals or people who don’t even play haha.
I also play Apex and use the Dualsense Edge, and i've had it longer than i've had a Flydigi Vader 4 but i swapped back because the PS5 sticks just feel so much better, which is still pretty strange. I think hall effect is just too "new" so the current sticks aren't very good, i heard the ksilver modules in pretty much 99% of hall effect controllers are much worse than standard potentiometers, I can confirm as I also have a G7SE and it was simply put, not a good aim experience. maybe if Flydigi started using TMRs it'd be closer but for now the PS5 controller is still the best controller to use imo. there's a reason just about every Apex pro uses one.
Yup totally agree with everything you said! I've also felt like HE sticks might be too new, and the technology has a lot of catching up to do. BUT the first HE sticks were actually invented in 1995 by SEGA. I think it's more a case of companies capitalizing on the hype around HE, and being too cheap to provide proper TMR sticks.
@@acfire9227 youre right. the first hall effect sticsk that where used in game controllers where used in 1995 in the Sega Saturn. everybody always mention the dreamcast when they try to tell others that hall effect stick are not new. But the Sega saturn used them first. And even airplaynes use hall effect sticks. but those are way more advance i am sure. so how come companies have not adopted the technology of good hallk effect sticsk (like in airplaynes) to the format of a gamecontroller stick module? cant be that hard if the technology is way more advanced then is used in game controllers. Why are TMR sticks better? this is the same argument as are mechanical buttons better and more responsive then membrane buttons. No in theire current form they are not. There seem to be no controllers that actually use non dampend mechanical buttons. all mechanical buttuns seem to still use dampening by using a rubber membrane. to my knowledge theire is not a single controller that has the outer plastick butotn hit the switch undeneath directly. wich defeats the whole purpuse of using clicky switches althogether. because the buttons will still have a large travel distance.
My PS5 controller broke after a year, so i got an 8bitdo ultimate 2c controller. How would you rate that one? It's new so there's not much info about it.
Not sure at all. The biggest thing with hall effect is TMR sticks, it's hard for me to recommend anything that's not TMR. You can test the resolution if you'd like, that's a good benchmark. If you're not a top 1% player it doesn't matter much either way tbh you won't be able to feel the difference.
@acfire9227 Yeah. Honestly, I hardly ever play PvP games. Usually it's either solo or co-op. What I'm really after is a controller that feels good, works well, and will last more than 2 years. (I'm using these on a Steam Deck btw, so they'll have to work on Linux as well.)
have you seen a pro player gaming? i mean like next to you? those mofokers are try hards ok and they beat the shit out of their controllers, i mean have you seen a 15 year old playing fortnite? you can actually hear the controller going nuts of how hard they press the buttons and move the sticks.......they dont like hall effect sticks because they have way more sensitivity and they dont get use to it thats just it, but trust me hall effect sticks are here to stay and they will finally put an end to the annoying stick drift in original controllers.
I've used multiple hall effect controllers, none of them have been more sensitive than stock PS or Xbox controllers. But PS controllers do definitely have tighter springs, that's probably why you think they are less sensitive. HE is generally less responsive than ALPS, but all my Gamesir controllers have had looser springs which I absolutely love!
@@acfire9227 im not talking about the triggers being more sensitive im talking about the hall effect sticks being more sensitive and they are....there is no way ALPS are more responsive the thing is that this HE technology is new and not many gamers are getting use to it but HE are better than ALPS no question
