A genuinely nice man who I had the privilege of meeting at Nice airport whilst both of us were waiting for the same plane back to the UK. He smiled and said he didn't mind talking. We chatted about his role as Douglas Bader and without any hesitation whatever, he showed me his 'stiff' walk and how he did it. It's now my 'party trick' when I've had a few too many!
