Same issue (kind of) here. Out of my 4 companies, I’m only able to see freelancer missions for my flightseeing company (the lowest layouts).

I just tried the solution pinned and it still didnt work. For me it’s only the VIP missions. Well technically I only have cargo and VIP companies.

Hello @TSoutdoors18, I think you might have to sell the airplane and buy it again, but you might not get it for the same price. I am not sure, so please do some more research before your sell it.

half of my missions have gone too and once i do one... none are respawning... so im running out of missions fast !! I tried what they said solved it for them but ive had no joy.

@@poztin i did find out its a known issue on the devs part and is being worked on

@ApexGamer2020 If you have a company in career mode, make sure you select employee mode on the map. I don't think the VIP missions show up for freelance more.

@RTsKiii Thank you very much for your feedback. Regarding your comment, what I did was use the autopilot with the heading to try my best to maintain the course.

@justdave1270 I feel your pain.... That was worse than my experience. Microsoft/Asobo need to resolve and make sure we can continue if an error occurs and/or pay for the expenses/wages of the mission.

I was able to solve the problem by going to Settings > General > Online tab, and from there I turned off "Aircraft Traffic Type", "Air Traffic in career", "Live Weather" and "Multiplayer". I save the changes and exited the Settings page, then went back to Settings > General > Online tab, and turned back on all the settings that were turned off ("Aircraft Traffic Type", "Air Traffic in career", "Live Weather" and "Multiplayer"). That solved the problem for me.

@@NoLinga can you make a video and show us how to turn off air traffic because it's a major problem in the game latest annoying

@@jarreljones9409 Thank you very much for the feedback. I will post a video soon. In the mean time, if you can go to the settings (select cog from the top right) on the main menu in MSFS 2024, you will see the General tab (normally already selected). On the left side menu panel, select the Online tab, and from there you will see the option to toggle the "Air Traffic in career" option. You can also use this section to turn on/off other settings. Please let me know if it works for you.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I think it depends on where you base your career from. Even though I didn’t base mine from a remote location, I have flown in some remote regions on soft/grass fields. Also, as you progress, you will have the opportunity to fly in different regions around the world and you will get these options. I am sure if you are based in like Alaska, you will get more bush flying opportunities.

There is no traffic in career mode it is Microsoft problem that need to fix your freaking game it is almost Christmas

This fix doesn’t seem to be working for me 😢 can only see missions for my flightseeing company.

@@dgaerialimagery Did you make sure you selected "employee" mode on the map? If you select "Freelance" mode on the map in career mode, you will not see the other options.

@@NoLinga in the employee tab I can do all the missions I’ve been certified for. In free lancer I have five companies and only showing flightseeing missions and now also light cargo. My passive income crew seems to be getting missions lol. Just had a payout last night but I can’t see any missions other than flightseeing and now light cargo.

I will try that, for me VIP missions do not work, they were then stopped, seem to have happened after I added 2nd plane for VIP missions.

The first time I did this when you posted, I had a Cessna 172, followed your procedures, and it worked. I then bought an airbus helicopter for a Passenger Transport company and racked up enough points to buy a Cessna 208 Grand Caravan to go back to Cargo. Cargo is once again not showing up in missions. However the MULTIPLAYER is grayed out where I cannot click on it to change it. Also, Aircraft Traffic Type to turn on the REAL-TIME ONLINE is grayed out and cannot change it. Any thoughts?

@@thomaslanglois5368 not sure at the mo bro i am currently on the caravan grind so if i get to the same point and no fix is posted here i will try find one and let you know if i have same problem etc but im not quite there yet so havent had this problem as of yet sorry

@@EV1LGENERAL I sold the Caravan w/o using it, then put a C-172 back in there to wait it out with a lesser expensive a/c. It works fine with the 172, go figure.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, the course is definitely worth it! You get access to a lot of resources and guidance. There are videos and readings for every lesson and then you get to put the theory to practice with a coach as you are doing the maneuvers. If you start flight training without any experience, you will be spending around $65 per hour for ground school instructions only, and over $200 per hour for instructions within the airplane. That can be very expensive for teaching you basic things that you can do on your own before going to a fight instructor, unless you are enrolling fulltime in school for pilot training. Even if the later is true, it will still be beneficial. This course in conjunction with the FAA free book here www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/phak can give you an advantage before starting with a CFI or flight training school. Also, Sporty's and Gleim have a course that will get you ready for the Aeronautical Knowledge test. If you pass the test, then you will only need to focus on your flight training after, and you will be way ahead and be familiar with the FAA regulations and other required pilot training knowledge that you would not need to CFI to spend too much time teaching you. Hopefully that helps.
