Imagine if carriers could rate brokers too. Recently heard about Broker411 - it's a platform for carriers, non-profit, and they seem serious. Might be worth checking out.

Again, great stuff. I think there needs to be a distinction between new freight brokers who also own a trucking company vs those that have never had a logistics connection - like me 22 years ago. Those with a trucking company either want to supplement and scale their trucking operation or they just want to get off the road. I think I'll be limiting my new training clients to only those that have ownership in trucking or very closely related. This will help comply with FMCSA's 2015 mandate that will require broker to have three years' related experience. But I haven't heard too much in this regard from recent industry sources.

Darren, hope you’re reading these comments. As I said in my interview with Mutha Trucker, your platform is being used by brokers against carriers because they know you refuse to validate any information on your platform. Give carriers a voice. Review documents, texts, emails and make a reasonable decision before you post a freightguard to your platform. The premise of your platform is needed but your execution is wrong.

Carriers deserve a voice too! The scales need balance. Just came across Broker411. They want to help carriers protect their reputation. Pre-registration is open

C411 service hurts more the carriers than the scammers. Fortunately most big brokerages don’t allow their employees to use c411

I'm 8 minutes in, and probably won't go much further into an hour and a half video. For some reason, this feels like an interview with the guy who invented SkyNet, after the machines have taken over, and he's trying to justify it. "73% of all carriers have one truck". So you created a system that brokers can manipulate to crush them. Congratulations.

Question: if a broker gets thrown into a courtroom for negligent carrier selection; and if they've been using C411 for selecting carriers - what will they say or should they say when asked the question by the prosecutor: What, exactly, did you do in selecting this carrier who now is being charged with killing three people plus plowing into a Pabst Blue Ribbon manufacturing site and causing two million dollars of damage, including being responsible for unleashing an untold number of drunks into neighborhoods causing further havoc and damage???
