On todays episode we put a pair of Twisted Road customs hood louvers on Vedas jeep Xj. After dealing with heat soak the jeep earned a pair of these, giving it a sharp and unique look. Unimog 404 quick and easy portal axle fluid change!

Showing a very short and informative video on changing the portal axle fluid on my fathers 1962 Mercedes unimog 404. This video applies to both the front and rear portals. I used a 17mm half inch drive and a breaker bar to complete this task, along with Castro 80w90 gear oil. The portals take .3L to fill.

Golen 4.6 stroker unboxing!

This is my new Golen 4.6 stroker engine and figured I would do a unboxing video to show the true craftsmanship of the Golen products. This is my first UA-cam video so I’ll try to improve audio and video quality as I post more in the future.

Car guys will spend 8k on an engine, and be like "it's really cool they give you a shirt" (It's us, we are all car guys, we all do this😂)

No leaks around the seams of it if that is what you are asking. You may get a little rain or snow but not enough to hurt anything.

How's she running now?? I have one coming from Chad very soon..I have a jeep YJ with the 2.5l and AX-5 transmission with the np-231 transfer case I have the new ax-15 transmission and the transfer case gear upgrade to handle the new tranny, new clutch kit, I picked up from Advanced adapters. the crate motor..from Chad comes with the Sniper 2 EFI. Trying to bypass the damn factory ECU.. and changed all my wiring for the lights, wipers, gauges and starter switch already..but still running through the factory ECU..
Running great after I corrected a few small things. Very torque driven engine and solid built. Had to get used to the high lift cam noise at first but otherwise no issues at all. I wish you the best with your install and driving your jeep!
how's the 6 month report? still running stong? we need more updates from Golen engines online, they don't get enough attention
So far so good, I plan on making a final thoughts video soon, have had a busy beginning of the year so far. Engine continues to fire up perfectly no matter the weather. No mechanical issues of any sorts , power band has stayed the same and idles very well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice , drop in stroker backed by warranty and great customer service.

Oh most definitely, we didn’t even bother airing down that day. Would like a HP44 and rear 8.8 one day locked. So the 4.10 stock axles will have to do for now!

Hey Luis! Yes you can. I currently have nine all set up, just need to charge it! The Golen 4.6 stroker is a drop in user friendly engine, and uses all factory components and sensors! Let me know if you have anymore questions
