Stolen Catalytic Converter? How to replace upstream o2 sensor Outlander Sport
Someone stole the catalytic converter off of my Outlander Sport and they also damaged the front o2 sensor. This gave me a p0031 code for the heater circuit. Here is a video of how to replace the front o2 sensor in an outlander sport or lancer

Replacing some broken Maxpeedingrods coilovers with BC’s. My coilovers were failing and becoming dangerous so I purchased some BC’s from Coilover Depot. Here is my experience with that company as well as my installation and review of the ride quality.

How to change a throttle cable
Переглядів 19 тис.3 роки тому
In this video I am showing you how to change a throttle cable on an e36 M3. This procedure should be very similar on any cable driven throttle body vehicle. Please keep in mind this e36 has an ASC delete so it may look slightly different from your set up. This throttle cable was purchased from ECS tuning.
How to Change Evo X Serpentine Belt
Переглядів 10 тис.4 роки тому
My Evo X spit this shredded belt out so I figured I would let it benefit others. Let me know in the comments if you want to see any other Evo X maintenance! To remove the old cable, wouldn’t it have been easier to just cut it so it could be pulled out through the driver side instead of through the firewall?
These vehicles suck to lower. There's just no other way around it. I have a 2011 and every single step of the way has been atrocious. I ended up spending a fair amount of money to in the end have the shittiest ride experience I've ever had of any vehicle the fronts and the backs have widely different lowering potentials the back you can hardly lower at all the front you can lower a lot farther than the wheel wells would even take it's stupid and no matter what my dampening settings are it just is unpleasant to drive if you have an ASX or an outlander sport both the same thing and you're thinking about doing this please just don't you'll be way happier in the end sell your little confused crossover take that money and get yourself a quality car go find a little bit of an older STI for instance or if you're super huge on Mitsubishi go find an older Evo you'll be so much happier that you did
Where did you getted?
Gonna work on the project car with this . Very helpful good video.
What length belt is on the EVO ??? I need to buy a belt but can’t find any info on the belt length !!!!!!
103.3"
I used this for an e46 preety much The same thanks for the vid
What year is your outlander? Thinking of getting these for my 2019, also love the fact you have a ucf10 cause I have one aswell lmao TY for posting this video 💪
hey do you still have your outlander sport im looking to install a turbo to it but need a lil info if you dont mind
Awesome video, just changed mine yesterday and it works perfect now. Saved me a lot of money, thank you!
I have a 2018 , and it rides pretty shitty from the factory, so i bet your seriously stiff with lowering it. Thanks for making this Man.
Great vid. Anyone can do his car himself once he watch this video. Thx.
Nice share, btw Do you know which number that harness cable that O2 sensor is? (D-37/38?) Trying to tap a wideband on it
Thank you for making this video , it’s so hard to find anything about the asx , nobody builds them , my coilovers come Monday , can’t wait
Glad it helped!
hit that like, well deserved
thanks!
Thanks for this video bro.
Hope it helped
Are these known to fault!? I think this happened to mine. I bought mine pre-owned and my 02 sensor (upstream) just went out (not fully, but it's reading over voltage). I pulled it out and it's not stock OEM. It's after market. I just ordered an aftermarket Upstream 02 sensor and plan on slapping it into my outlander today once it arrives. I didn't know people were stealing our freaking catalytic converters. Smdh people suck
Unfortunately a lot of aftermarket sensors will go bad way more often than OEM. However most of the time an o2 sensor code is not from a faulty sensor, but a problem causing it to alert the pcm
Will this work for a 2021 outlander sport?
Could you please tell me where to even start looking to find things to customize my 2015 Mitsubishi outlander sport. I have looked and looked can’t find much. This is the first car I’ve ever wanted to actually do something with and I am new to the scene
Sorry for the late supply but almost anything for a Lancer, will fit an outlander. Including coilovers. They are the same chassis. Ebay also has many simple aesthetic mods!
you have no fucking idea im 6,2 and swapping an e34 cable onto my e30 for an s52 and im hating my life this shit sucks
outlandersport and asx are the same? what maxspeeding coilovers model?
So sorry about your cat converter that sucks! Thanks for posting how to change these sensors. Saves me A LOT of bills to do it myself!
Is it possible to do this without removing that wheel because I find myself on the unfortunate situation of having a floating stud with a lug starched so that wheel isn’t coming off and I need the belt replaced 💀
Can you share the item number for eBay
This was very helpful. thx man
Glad it helped!
What is that piece called that's on the end of the adjusters, my cable has nothing wrong with it other than the rubber piece that's missing.
Those are just the bushings on the cable. You could buy a new cable or possibly use something from a hardware store as a decent replacement. Get creative
FCP euro calls them “throttle cable bushings” I believe and you can buy them for a few bucks.
howw was the drive with these compared to the stock strut setup
Honesty quite poor. But the stock struts aren’t amazing either. Even with a quality product like BCs it’s very rough riding and stiff. I would recommend a lowering spring instead
Do they make lowering springs for the asx? Or would I have to look for lancer springs?
@@payplaysgames9510they do
Grat ..do you know what is the maximum height we can have ? I have lifted car 3cm but feels terrible..i dont want to low the car
No excuses thank you bro it’s rough for tall guys
Never fun under the dash for us
How much did car max offer you
Sorry for the late reply but they only offered 14k. I ended up selling privately for considerably more
I’m just here for the hot hands and dad bod
Belt came off during some snow driving. Thanks for the video. Saved the rest of my day trying to figure it out from scratch!
doing this tomorrow with 3 idler pulleys
Great video! At what mileage did the belt break? I assume the tension is preset and you can’t mess that up?

The Most Ariel thanks homie \m/
