Since last year, I've been challenging myself more so I can improve better, so unfortunately, I failed the illustrations for each months at the end of the year challenge I attempted first time. Decided since I'm using youtube more, I should post my speedpaints of it to keep me on track

Someone else probably already pointed this out but in this song (I'd say specifically towards the end, like at 3:13) the background voice says "Più stupidi di così non possiamo diventar" which means "we cannot become more stupid than this" in italian
I think this song was inspired from the story of Julius Caesar, where he was betrayed by his closest aid, almost son to him, Brutus and stabbed to death. The betrayal was so gruesome that we now have the word “ Brutal “ and it also left Rome in a jeopardy.
Exactly, and Antony refers to Brutus as 'Caesae's angel'...it anguishes me.

Not just that, but like a very self-serving egotistical king. Really just because of the hatred for kings at the time. They called Julius a Rex, too, and he vehemently refused the title.

I don’t know if this was intentional, but the wheat in the background and everywhere in the story seems to be a prominent motif in the animatic. It reminds me of a story in the Old Testament of the Bible, about Cain and Abel. The story of those who were brothers, but one was jealous of the apparent “favoritism” he was getting from their God. And so he wanted to be him but knew he couldn’t, and so he lured his brother out into the fields of wheat and killed him. This seems so much like what happened in the animatic!! Beautiful storytelling in all the frames :DDD
