Love this color story!

Finding out what colors suit you is a real adventure right?! It all depends on your skin tone and undertone but also the color of your eyes and hair. It can be quit challenging to find your perfect match!! What brands do you like, do you have specific palettes you use a lot at the moment?

@ LOVELY VIDEO AND CHOICE BY THE WAY. I have a huge collection for somebody that has only 2 eyes🤣. Mainly Pat McGrath and Natasha but also a few Charlotte, huda, BH,…Actually I do not own yet ysl, rabanne, Tom ford, Patrick Ta, Visiart or Mario, because I promised myself to use what I have in the last 2 years, but it has been very very difficult to resist🫣. Recently I understood that the shadows that gave me most compliments were the shadows from the first face palette from Natasha Denona (Light). Totally boring I know but they are absolutely Neutral in my skin. Charlotte’s shades look all orange on me. Almost all cool browns turn grey on me. Xoxo 😘

@@patriciaquintela899 it’s all about color theory! Shades can look different on your skin compared to what you see in the pan! Remember the Natasha Denona Xenon palette? The grey shades pulled blue on me!

I think you won't be disappointed! I apply most shades with my fingertips, and then blend with a small, dense brush, that works best for me!

Actually been working on demo those palettes. I recently worked with Undressed Brown, it’s an exquisite eyeshadow palette, must have 😊

I feel you! I remember I had this with the Natasha Denona Xenon eyeshadow palette, the shades pulled mostly bluish-grey on me, while I saw all these silvery/grey/black looks on everyone else 😂

Haha yes that little brush is cute! But I never use the brushes that come with eyeshadow palettes, most of those tiny brushes are just not convenient to use. Enjoy your first Hermès products!! I’m soooo in love with that lipstick!

Thanks Lili! When I was looking at the pictures of the looks that I did with this Hermes quad, I noticed how good the blue looks on me haha! And how it works so well with my brown eyes. I know that brown eyes and blue eyeshadow are a good combo, but I don't use blue a lot because it's such a present shade (and not always easy to incorporate in a wearable look). So thanks to Hermes I'm more interested in the blue now haha!

@@fedaro_beauty I understand the feeling. Blue is such a pretty color, but is really hard for me to pull off unless it's a deep blue like the one in your palette. But I also get intimidated trying to use blue since it's so present, just as you said. lol.

@UnboxLili88 Exactly this!!! A deep blue, like the one in this palette, works wonderfully but when the blue shades lean more green it’s a no.

Yes! A stunner!

It’s a rosy-gold shade, it’s absolutely stunning and depending on the light and angle the color looks either more rosy or more gold. And yes, it was hard to ruin the beautiful embossing haha! But in the end, make-up is meant to be used, right?!

Hi Brenda, no the quints are a pass for me, I don’t really like the reformulation, especially the mattes are too dry and patchy for me. I know a lot of people still like the quints, in the end it’s personal preference of course. I did pick up a lipstick in the golden case and of the liquid lipsticks.

It looks so much better in person compared to promo pics or the website photos! I think the reds pairs very well with the brown and taupe, and also with the eggplant shade. But red will never be my favorite shade, it can be a bit tricky. I’m gonna do some looks with this palette in the next couple of days, I’ll post those on my IG-page. I will also do a detailed review video about some Holiday releases (mostly luxury brands), this palette will be included in that video. I’m patiently waiting for Chanel to arrive (package is still on the way). I need to test and try everything thoroughly for that video.

No, definitely not as popular as most other collections!! Which makes total sense, because it's just not a very good collection... And yes, the Holiday collection is stunning! I've ordered some product, they are on their way.

No, I’m gonna skip Dior Holiday quints. Since the reformulating I don’t like the quints anymore. Not pigmented enough for my liking, too dry and patchy. I just can’t make them work for me. I’m patiently waiting for the Chanel Holiday collection!!

Thanks Miki, I’m happy you found me! Yes, the prices keep going up… 😖 this applies to most beauty brands unfortunately… Metallic Mauve is a stunner but definitely not a TF quad you necessarily need. I’m hoping for some new quads in the wet/dry formula but I guess that won’t be happening anymore in 2024…

Compared to this Tom Ford palette, YSL 400 is more pink in tone.

The wet/dry formula from Tom Ford is my favorite formula. It’s soooo incredibly creamy. I hope the brand will release more palettes with this formula. This Metallic Mauve is a stunner!! Have you tried it?

I’m excited for you Helena! Please share your thoughts once you’ve tried it. I remember, you told me you sometimes have allergic reaction to Tom Ford eyeshadow formula. Hopefully not with this one. 🤞
