9 Weeks of Backyard Farming: From Seedlings to Harvest – My Weekly Journey
Step into the world of backyard farming with this 9-week journey of dedication and growth! This video begins with a time-lapse of weekly pictures, capturing the incredible transformation of my garden as it flourishes week by week. From small seedlings to lush, healthy plants, it’s a visual diary of how consistent care can lead to a thriving garden.
In this vlog, I take you behind the scenes to show the hands-on work that made this progress possible. Watch as I carry out essential farming practices like staking, pruning, topping (adding soil), irrigation, and spraying-each of which plays a crucial role in ensuring healthy plant growth and high yields:
Staking: Supporting plants helps them grow upright, prevents fruits from touching the soil, and reduces the risk of disease, ensuring healthier crops.
Pruning: By removing unnecessary stems and leaves, I improve airflow, prevent overcrowding, and allow the plant to direct its energy toward producing bigger, healthier fruits.
Topping (Adding Soil): Covering the plant's stem with fresh soil provides additional stability, protects roots from exposure, and promotes better nutrient absorption for stronger growth.
Irrigation: I show how I water my crops efficiently to ensure consistent hydration, which is critical for plant health, especially during dry spells.
Spraying: Protecting the plants from pests and diseases is vital, and I demonstrate how I manage this while keeping the environment in mind.
Throughout the video, I also discuss the importance of each practice and how it contributes to the overall health and productivity of the garden. Farming isn’t just about planting seeds-it’s about caring for plants, adapting to challenges, and making small, consistent efforts that lead to big rewards.
This video is a testament to the power of dedication and the joy of watching your hard work pay off. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced grower, you’ll find inspiration, practical tips, and a closer look at the realities of farming.
Join me as I document this rewarding journey, celebrate the beauty of nature, and share my passion for backyard farming. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more

This looks amazing!

How do you access the back of the leaves if you do not use a sprayer? That is where the enemies lives.
I'm preventing pest and insects ND if they alrdy there under the leaves they can't eat and enjoy the leaves because of the poison ND smell. ND I also belive the spray does the same thing
Systemic pestcides they enter into the plant system so wether he sprays on top of the leaves it dose not matter
The hustle continues. Big ups!
All day long
Your dedication to organic farming is inspiring. 🌱
Thank you so much 🙂
This is a great example of sustainable living.
That's great staff im inspired to do the same
Go for it
Thank you. Greetings from England.

What type of top soil did you buy?
Red soil from the forest
@@Cpt_TheFamer is there any specific company you bought it from, I need this soil, my garden is sandy and rocky.
What about strong winds ???
@SH-bw5fx I have a house and a high wall next to it.is not that much exposed to the wind and I have used quality materials
Great job , what about the wind damage ???? In case of strong winds / heavy rain..? Its allready blowing floating
@SH-bw5fx use strong quality material. Rain is not evin a worry. It doesn't affect or damage. Wind can be a problem sometimes but mine[ SHADE NET ] has survived so many strong winds I'm going for my second year now
@@Cpt_TheFamer great i see that . Could it better to use wire tensioners for tightening max the wire . Question i haven t seen use of extra nylon ropes on top of roof s lenght to assure extra pressure to hold down the the roof net ml?
