the scene you chose for "I lay my weapons down" is perfect

The fact that Shawn must felt lonely and different bc his dad turned him into a monster in observation. Not letting him do what he wanted to do as a kid, in order to make him a cop, and Shawn as the script said, felt embarrassed about his intelligence and his capabilities that he was trying to use jokes as a defense mechanism. Shawn had the gift and still tried to act like he was an idiot in order to fit in. The actual opposite from Sherlock Holmes and yet, best un canonical Sherlock Holmes adaption ever. Also, his mum supposedly was there but she did not stop his dad from closing him in a truck in order to teach him how to get out of it, all this time i remember thinking that she was dead until they showed her to us and i realized that she did not leave until Shawn was 15 i think. So that means, that even though she was there with Shawn and his dad, she was not really there.

Sadly I lost most of my work-in-progress Leverage vids in a computer update last year (save your projects, kids!) so there's a gap in here that I was intending to fill but, well, lost the project file and it would take a lot of effort to screencapture more Leverage and make a new project file etc etc, so here's this haha xD
