Try getting familiar with how the animation of that first hit looks, and do the next input during that animation. You can get a feel for how much time you have to do the next input before the animation ends. Play with the timing, either speeding up or slowing down.

He had a learning curve, for sure. Stance heavy characters always have that extra mile to grind, when learning how to play them

I consider Eliot a God Tier character due to this. Once you learn Eliot, he is very dangerous and so fun to play. He is my main in Dead or Alive 6, and one of my favorite characters in the series.

Yeah back when the game first launched, there were more new players that came to try the game at the same level. Now it’s mostly the hardcore fans who been knowing how to play ha. She’s a complex character, with her different stances and whatnot. I recommend keeping her as simple as possible, slowly expanding into what she can do as you get comfortable

Aivry The shirtless singin wonder The key is to only let the second justice combination hit twice instead of the full three hit sequence. After two hits, immediately cancel into the second videl rush, you should be able to easily land that last heavy attack right before justice rush

Steven Rain As far as I know, she doesn’t have one. The only thing I can think of that you might be talking about is her V-reversal (on block, push forward and 3punches, L1 on ps4 should by default have 3punches on it)

Alexis Hernandez hmm I would recommend Diego. He’s not complicated and has good damage.

Alexis Hernandez how or who to main? For how, pick a character that gets your attention. If you’re looking for accessibility, stay away from moves that put your character into back turn, or moves that change a characters stance. For who, again I’d recommend Diego first, other options are La Mariposa, Bayman, Hayabusa or Kasumi. These aren’t complex to get started with, and have good damage.

jettmanas Try holding down forward as soon as you input the first step. Then after Brad does the 6P, watch his head as it descends. Aim for the end of the descent to press the punch button.

Tallestdavid Pai Chan and Akira were playable as a team in project x zone for the 3ds. It’s an rpg game. Pretty fun! Sadly, it seems VF is gonna skip this generation of console gaming, since next year is the last (at least for xbx one)

Tallestdavid I think so. Their characters continued to get publicized even though they didn’t have their own game this generation. I think the franchise still has a chance to comeback.

Got my first ranked loss. The 10-win streak was nice. Lots of info here. What would you focus on most?

jettmanas Nice! I would focus on knowing what stance Brad will take as you begin each of your attacks. If I know ahead of time what stance is coming, in the event my attack gets blocked and Brad goes into stance I can be prepared to snap him to block, do nothing or keep attacking, etc depending on the opponent’s reaction or the situation (like Brad failing to hit a character). This way, I can minimize the risk of taking unnecessary damage.
