I love my Lord Jesus Christ. He has done great and mighty things in my life. I come from a family where we experienced many many hardships. We are 2 daughters and both my parents wanted son. Yet they brought us up well but with sorrow in their heart. Due to many many more problems, my father started drinking because of which my mother was always depressed. We as children grew up to hate each other and my parents were very consumed in their own sorrow. I have always seen fights in my house. My father being drunk and abusing my mother. My sister locking herself up in one room and never talking to anyone of us. One day, my sister tried to commit suicide. She was saved by the love of Jesus Christ. That is when we got to know about her acute depression and what caused it. She was deprived of my mother's love when she was born due to which she felt unworthy and unloved. Hence, when she was 22 years she tried to commit suicide. My family had to deal with financial problems, sorrow, hatred, depression, suicide, alcoholism, my sister was jobless was many years, my mother struggled with taking care of the house, my father doubted my mother to have an affair with another man. It was a dark deep hole. On the other hand, I was young too, I started drinking and hanging out with the wrong people, got into wrong things - alcoholism, drugs, smoking and many things. Even though all this was going on - I believed in God but my faith had to be stronger. The day my sister attempted to commit suicide, I was scared... very very scared...Hence, I started praying the 3 o'clock Divine Mercy prayer everyday, without fail. I could not see my family crumble like that, it was breaking my heart. It's been 15 years since and I still stay my prayers everyday. It's a daily ritual for me and I love to pray now. When I don't pray - I feel an emptiness within me. As of today, my father is not an alcoholic like he used to be. He drinks but not as much. I sister is a content writer, she works from home. My mother is better now. I have asked her to pray the Divine mercy prayer and she does. Every time I talk to her over the phone, she sounds better. I have been married for 10 years - I have had troubles in my marriage too. But I truly believe God will give me a kingdom marriage and children too. Through his mercy and love for me. God has been so good to me all my life. My love grows more and more stronger. God has always sent me angels through my friends to always tell me that he loves me and he will never leave me or forsake me. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Amen.
