Good shit brother, I had the same mindset when I was your age and I still have it now (im 24). I've noticed my friends have gotten more cynical, more reserved, and less friendly to those outside of their circle. Maintaining respect and empathy for everyone, regardless of whether you believe yourself to be above them / below them / in disagreement with them is the only way we will succeed as a species. All this political / two party bullshit is driving wedges between people who really just want the same thing
