Local folks all so giving everyone helping everyone. I in the midst of Helene in the NW mountains. People are hurting and still in shock. Nothing has ever happened like this ..ever. It's apocalyptic
Hopefully FEMA didn’t steal them!
Good news, I worked directly with a friend of mine at a church in town so we were able to ensure they all went to people in need!
Harley and Rockford should be embarrassed that the stock system sounds this bad. Because of that I wouldn’t pay for a stage 2. I bought the volunteer audio hertz stage 4. I’ve installed the fairing speakers and will install the bag speakers when the cut in kits arrive. Well worth the money. Harley would be better off partnering with them instead. F Rockford.
@@barkleywitcher3494 I definitely don’t disagree with you that the stock system is an embarrassment. Although, to be embarrassed, one would actually have to be able to hear it. 🤣 Honestly though, the stage 2 kit is significantly better. That’s what they ought to be sticking in them in the first place!
I'm so happy for the Wilson family ..

Your intro/story reminded me of a McDonald’s I stopped by about 10 years ago, near the Biltmore estate, that had a self playing piano. Shit was WILD.

Hello A Rev Moto NC. Thank you for sharing your content. Really like the way your wind splitter sits I want the same for mine. I message chuck and have not hear back. Is he still making wind splitter brackets. Bike looking good. Thanks.
@@teddyvargas9511 thank you for stopping in and checking out the channel! I’m disappointed in the communication that folks seem to be experiencing with Chuck. He was very interested in making these for others, but hasn’t been very good about responding to emails. I’ve reached out to him every time someone comments that they have emailed him. He acknowledged it, but doesn’t seem to be responding. I’m so very sorry about that. I’ll reach out again and see if that helps!

New Sub, really enjoyed the camping content. Ive done several camping trips on my Harley and had a blast. Would you mind sending me a link to the Harley Decals on your bags? Also, how difficult were they to install? Thanks in advance.
@@2WheelMotoJourney thanks so much for the sub and for stopping in to check out the video! Motocamping has become one of my most favorite ways to escape! Fortunately / unfortunately, my wife and I own a small graphic design / apparel / printing business so my wife did the decals in house! She spent some time installing them, but it’s not hard. Where are you located?
@@RevMotoNC Columbia SC, also just checked out your Natchez Trace video. Ive been on the fence about making this trip with a fellow rider who lives near Clemson SC but you convenience me to take the leap. Thanks for the response.
@@2WheelMotoJourney Natchez was AWESOME! I would definitely plan to get to Natchez, Mississippi a little earlier in the day so that you could spend a little more time there. It really is a neat town. As far as the trace itself, the ride between Tupelo and Nashville is my favorite part! As for the decals, shoot me an email at revmotonc@gmail.com. We’ll get you a set of those graphics on the cheap! 😜
@@RevMotoNC Thank you so much, for the offer on the decals. I will shoot you a text later in the week, to work out the price and details. Cool that you are a pastor and likes to ride. Those Rockford speakers are also terrible. Just not as terrible as the stock ones. I used hertz 165neo in the fairing and 690neo in the bags. Absolutely so much better with a better amp.

@@jakeviolet4045 I will check them out! Oldskool really wanted something he could hear before buying and the Rockford kit seemed to be the only one he could find locally so that’s a big reason why he went that route.
My wife and I have matching Road King Specials. After riding with a wind splitter at one at our local dealer Demo day this was the windshield for us. Looks great and matches our riding. I don’t notice much difference adjusting the vent.
@@jagjr6772 super cool that you guys have matching Kings! The only time I’ve notice much difference using the vent is at 70+ MPH. You guys ride safe out there!
Just a heads up. You don’t need a different amp to run bag speakers that 500w amp is a 4ch anp

Michelle did a great job !!!!
No doubt about it!
I'm truly blessed to know Rev and and his family and call them my friends . Great video and the teddy bear sweater .🤣
@@scottmagnuson7539 that goes both ways!
The dealer should have informed you that the bars will have to be moved before installing. This is why I keep my HD bolt on windshield, it is very adjustable up and down and tilt at the angle I want.
@@truthbetold-jq8iw one would think, right? LoL. When I told them I didn’t like it because side they moved the bars, they said they couldn’t return a windshield after it was installed.. SMH
The Windsplitter is a POS. My 2014 FLHR came with one and while I agree that it looks reasonably good it is only suitable for someone 5’-8” or less because anyone taller is going to experience buffeting at your helmet. Why on earth they didn’t make a model that is 3 or 4” taller is beyond me. I have ordered a 19.5” tall KlockWerks Flare to replace the WindSplitter and I am confident that it will function much better for me.
@@marklammers6117 thanks for checking out the video. I agree that the buffeting was present, but after changing the angle of the brackets, that disappeared. I’m not convinced the flaws are in the Windsplitter itself, but rather, I believe the stock brackets to be the issue! Klock Werks makes a great product and I hope that setup works flawlessly for you!
Good luck with that cockwerks, It was way worse on the noggin. I went back to my wind splitter
What bars are those and size?
@@RevMotoNCThe Klock Werks windshield is a total game changer. I am still looking over the top edge for a clean line of sight and I have zero buffeting at my helmet. Went on a 3000 km trip late in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed the way this new windshield protects my riding position.
@ can you share a link to the one you have? I would love to take a look at it!
I also have a 23 RKS I just recently picked up with very similar bars and had the same situation with the bars having to be pulled back. In my case it worked for me since I’m shorter (5’7/5/8). Had a road warrior fairing on my last bike and this by far gives me better wind protection while still looking nice. Those long ride shields don’t really match the hot rod style of the RKS in my opinion. Cheers man and I’ll be doing a vid on this as well since I just competed a 1,700 mile trip without issues
@@RunCMDmoto thanks for checking out the video! Looking forward to checking out your video!
Great Video!!!
The garage should be called No Directions Needed . Or We Don't read Directions
Oh we definitely NEED directions! lol. Clearly!
It’s trash waist of money if anyone wants a wind splitter contact me. Long Ride shields is the way to go.
@@adventureornot7517 thanks for watching! I’ve never heard of Long Ride Shields. Tell me more! revmotonc@gmail.com
Based on what I’m seeing with a quick google search, I would have the same problem with the Long Ride Shields as I did with the Windsplitter since it uses the same style mounting system. I still want to know more, though!!
A second LRS recommendation here. They’ll advise size to you, but it looks like you’re good to go!
