Im not diabetic but my brother is, he needs his phone as it has his monitor on it. A BUNCH of teachers take away his phone from him or think it’s a excuse to let him keep it. It’s really annoying

I am 14 with tb1 I had tb1 for 8 months now and it is so HARD to get used to especially dealing with high blood sugars and low blood sugars ALL THE TIME.But it’s some thing I have to get used to and it’s especially hard at school when my blood sugar gets too high and it’s hard for me to focus. And my friends would say you’re so lucky for having diabetes because you get to go to the nurse all the time and I started crying and told them “lucky?” I am not lucky and I get bullied all the time for having T1B it sucks!

High blood sugars for us type ones can cause issues with breathing, our heart rate, sexual activity, it can cause anger and outbursts, anxiety, jitters, back and kidney pain, fatty liver, weight gain or loss extremely quick, and so much more, please take care of yourself everyone 💕

I'm a type 2 diabetic. Both sides of my family has had it. My dad was a brittle diabetic. His sugar level went up to 700, and down to 3. My mom was borderline diabetic most of my life. The most my sugar level has ever been was 399. But yes, it causes a lot of problems. I have neuropathy and retinopathy. It sucks.

For real I’m a t1d and all my friends at school used to tell me that I’m using my diabetes as a way to get out of class, and then I got bullied for having diabetes. They told me that diabetes is the most easiest thing ever to manage and that I was just being dramatic, but they will truly never understand how hard it is to live with diabetes!

my cousin was diabetic and i never realized how dangerous it could be. she had a cold and didn’t take her insulin, and her body produced too many ketones, causing her to go brain dead. that, my friends, is why i’ll never find diabetes “jokes” funny. it killed my best friend.

I'm 13 and have had t1 diabetes for a year I am 90 - 100% in range all the time and it all comes fron good earing habits, eating fresh fruits (and yes fruits are high in carb but the fat makes up for it, trust me) and veggies and controlling ur sugar 24/7 it's a freaking job so might as well be good at it. Thank God for saving you bc diabetes can kill you and he has saved me on the day I got diagnosed as well as put breath in my lungs everyday. ❤🙏✨️

Dude, it's true when i was 18 months old (aka when i was diagnosed with T1D). My mom kept seeing me as a wethy child walking, talking everything, but one day, i stopped doing everything, and when i meant everything. I also stopped drinking milk eating, etc, and i only wanted to drink water. It gets worse when my mom puts me down to sleep. I'd cry and cry, and when my mom would come in, and when i was in her hands, i would immediately stop crying, and that's when my mom brought me to the er and my mom had to bring me there 4 times the first time they said i was just sick the second time i had bronchitis the third time was something but i forgot what it was and the last time my mom brought me in i was finally was diagnosed with T1D and when my mom found out she was hart broken and she had to take lessons to take care of T1D so i agree with you the helth care sucks and nothing will never change that *ps i love your vids*

In the state of Illinois, I used to live there, my brother with a very rare genetic disorder does not qualify for 24 seven care. His life expectancy was 8 to 9 but so far he’s made it to 13. He almost died twice in the past two years and it’s so crazy to think that the state just wants more money so they won’t give my brother nurses that’s why we moved.
