A Ship to India (1947) - A Selected Scene
Gloomiest happy ending ever. How is this a happy ending? - you wonder. Because he smiled. In the entire film, our sonderkommando protagonist is dulled into emotionless lethargy. All he wanted is to experience one humane moment again, a true emotion. So, in a way, he won, and no matter what, the nazis couldn't take that away from him.
Bowing to the Buddha Nature of that Woodcutter. Having faith in the Buddha Nature in us all❤
Notice how kikucio is buried with others samurai, and not with vilagers because he was not from samurai class, but in dead he became one like others on the top of the hill, second when kikucio is hunting for fish in river rest are above on clif, in death he was above rest who are alive.
Rip the seagull 1990s - 2024
If you're going to title this "Ocean Scene", maybe include the whole scene. The lead up to what little you shared in what it really the most pivotal.
영화를통해 관객사고의 지평을 넓히는 압도적 미장센
Absolutely beautiful ending for a dark film.
Homosexuality implication
worst part of the whole movie. he just couldnt help himself, just couldn't be suffered to let the character have one true friend in the world. no need at all to be that cruel to joe. also feels completely out of character for seligman. yes, i know the point is the betrayal.
This scene is so emotional for anyone who understands it sophie is about to drown but is rescued by her nanny Cleo. Cleo is having a mental breakdown saying she didnt want the baby who ended up being a stillborn the family offers their support by hugging her and the mother reminds her she is loved by them. This symbolizes for me that we can drown in our problems or find a way to stay afloat.
Saw this for the first time last night at my local Imax, 4k restoration for the 70th anniversary. Amazing movie. Of course some details are dated like the bald caps, but I grew up with my grandparents so I'm used to watching movies from the 40's-60's. It couldn't take away from the fact though, that I could see the cinema heritage I'd heard so much about. Kyuzo was such a badass. Probably the best moment of the film is when he comes back with the gun nonchalantly and says 'killed two' and goes for a nap 😂 His death hurt, as it did with Kikuchiyo who was the heart of the movie and went out as he lived, with style. Very poignant ending too...'We lost again'.
Har du testat rollspel i samband med sex? Vi har ju inte snackat innan, så vill veta allt du är sugen på!
"Hands in the air, fuckers." 🤣🤣🤣
This is so good
best shot ever
In a world harsh and full of evil, it is always worthy to be good and do good.
Ah yes, death, go ahead and jump for the mermaid, but they all gathered for a feast
The Lighthouse is a prequel to The Birds
And in the end Draba saved his friend. :)
brilliant how he shows the death by cutting to the mannequin's face, it to being lifeless and with a horrified look, due to how it's lit from below the chin. even back then, Kubrick had it
These 5 gum commercials are crazy
It's not an end scene but nice
this scene is so brilliant
What if she said is no!

Me when I catch the goddamn bird who stole my sandwich 🥪 😤
The arm flick at 0:13 sent me when I first saw this. Like you can just see the primal rage.
This really turns me on watching this
To be in this situation, and think: "2 choices to die: My body's either gonna suffer & rot or be blown to bits" Worst way to go imaginable!!!!
One less that can shit all over your car!! 😂
She didn’t answer his greetings. She didn’t turn the page of her book. She didn’t even let him carry her flower pot. She ignored every empty-headed tactics used by Hossein. But Eventually She said, "Yes".
Always loved how crunchy it sounds mmm
This is how Bruce feels like when he fights criminals. But can't go too far because of his "moral code".
Where can I find the whole movie please
The station i was watching this movie on cut with 7 mins remaining. Had to come find the ending. Great movie and amazing cinematography. The death acting was on par as well with the brutality of war.
Thanks

Story of my life. I'm the Forrest to my own Jenny...but my "Jenny's" name is Payton. I willingly take care of her...pay her bills...buy her meals...I love her like no other...BUT...she'll (probably) never love me. 😢❤️😢
