Glad the pie place closed down. Went from an abusive home to have to endure that job and that older bald guy constantly berating his staff like they were stupid. How was constant belittling helping anyone Neal? You think punishing anxiety and timidness is going to make anyone less anxious? The irony is, all the constant stress actually does cause cognitive decline over time. Now that I'm grown I just hope the younger ones in this town realize their worth and dont let older folk push them around because of "respect for your elders" being drilled onto them. This town has some toxicity it needs to deal with holy crap.
Never been there except for the outdoor shooting range a few weeks ago. It was a nice range. We practically had it to ourselves.

I actually took that on January 1st, 2024 the town was empty that day, but come on a Friday evening, and you will see the street busy, thanks for the comment.
Be careful what you ask for. The commute from Bastrop to Austin is getting worse and worse. The population is expected to double in Bastrop in the near future. It is already becoming a traffic nightmare and it will only get worse.
