Koozer XM490 mtb hubs from Amazon review!

Just a short opinion/unboxing of Koozer mtb/road hubs. The front hub was mistakenly stated as being 110 x 15. It is actually 100 x 15. Sorry for the mistake. Excited to build these up and post weights of complete wheels!

Old Workhorse Mach 4/4 still getting it done!
Did they replace the Formula DC-20 / DC-22????
Yep! Spoke length was perfect!
Hi I finally got my machine. I was wondering if you can make a video on how to adjust off contact. When I put my screen down it is way to high from the back. Please help!
Mark Higgins is a good guy over at Antec it is underrated
Hey I was wondering if you can show how to remove the print heads? I need to move my machine and the door way is narrow. Please help

How do you Zero out the machine?
Loosen the reg lockdown knobs on top, turn the registration knob on the RIGHT side of print head (left/right axis) until the left side of edge of print head lines up with the white line that says 'neutral'. For the up/down, I turn the back reg knobs evenly all the way in (clockwise) and note how many threads are showing. Then turn them all the way out (counter-clockwise). Now turn them to about the middle of that range so both show the same amount of threads. You are now zero'ed. I like to mark the edge of print head with a sharpie, or tape right when you get it zero'ed. That way you know where the center (zero) is.
@@atomicprintdude256 I just got mine shipped. Can you make a video of it?
@@brianpulido8404 Done!
@@atomicprintdude256 thank you, this was helpful!
@@atomicprintdude256 Thank you!
Can you make a video about pricing t shirts?
I will look into doing that!
Thanks for these videos!!
How do you handle waste from the process? That's been my only hitch, especially because I have a septic tank and I use well water.
Hi, what does flex in the arms mean?
When you push squeegee with a lot of pressure, the arm that supports shirt platens flex a bit. My friend has an $8000 Riley Hopkins and it has a bit of flex also, so did my Workhorse Mach. Does not affect print at all.
are your arms all in perfect same elevation? Mine is not so i put shims to make it level. On the wood pallets, some are lower and some are higher. I think aluminum pallets are more uniformly made almost to a perfect level. Also I noticed the center line is not 100 percent equal on everybody pallet arm compared to one master pallet arm. So i draw the center line or move the pallet to the right or left little to make the center line the same on all of my six different arms. This press will be a perfect press if it has the pallet leveling option. M and R makes a good press except the Kruzer which I think is one of the badly designed manual on the market because you need to assemble it together and to make it level and the micros will seem like a nightmare for a beginner.
Yes they are perfect. I had to shim my Workhorse Mach press also. It was way off! The bolt on back of arm under off-contact pad can be used to level printing surface to some degree, to help keep off-contact consistent from station to station. Some early versions do not have that bolt I noticed. I almost bought a Kruzer, but many complained of jumpy micros so I steered away from it. Other M&R presses have a huge 10' footprint and I needed something a bit smaller. I draw centerlines exact then loosen bracket on print arm to center each one exactly the same, basically what you said. Works fine. Ranar makes a solid machine but the micros are way sloppy. Adjust y axis, then x axis now y axis moves so you gotta go back and forth. Big waste of time.
@@atomicprintdude256 with antec legend the pallets need to be the same size on the opposite side to make it even. if you put 16 by 22 aluminum arm on one side and you put 16 by 18 wood pallet on the other side, the wood pallet level will come up and not make the same elevation. with the laser there is gonna be less work to make the center line the same
@@wagyu_killer Makes sense. I have no need for all heads down so I went with the ONE.
Actually I make a shim using 5-6 business cards to set up off contact (distance between screen and garment).
Do you print with mask?
Yes sir! Respirator. Don't want to damage my lungs!
@@atomicprintdude256 smart!
How are you liking the Antec one? Thinking of getting one
@@brianpulido8404 It's good! The micro registration is super accurate, very well made machine
@@brianpulido8404 If you talk to Mark at Antec, tell him Scott from California talked to you. He's a great guy!
Do you have the wood or aluminum platens? Does the arm flex littel bit?
A little bit of flex but not enough to affect print quality. I went through it and made sure all bolts were tight, some were not very tight. I have the aluminum platens but I just switched to the wood because they are half of the weight of aluminum and it is much easier on the body, lol!
@@atomicprintdude256 u can buy honeycomb pallet without the rubber top from action engineering. if you buy it with the rubber it will not match the other pallets because the added height.
@@wagyu_killer Yes honeycomb are great. Very expensive though!
Did you get them on?
Yep, they are working great so far!
Hi, do you know the diameter of the press?
It's 8 ft. in diameter.
