I recently learned that box turtles hibernate. I hope I can make a nice hibernaculum for Florcita, my mom named him/her 🐢🤷♂️. He/She doesn't swin, tho. At least, I don't think it does 🤷♂️. Regardless, imma try to me it as comfortable as I possibly can. 🐢

I still have quite a ways to go till I consider it finished, but seeing them eating 🐢 and moving 🐢 around makes me believe they are happy, and healthy. What do y'all think 🤔?

LOUISIANA SUPER FOG
Переглядів 3,2 тис.Рік тому
I'm glad I was snailing it through this Super FOG yesterday morning in Louisiana. Had I been going the same speed as everyone else I might not have had enough time to stop 😱 It's been years since I've driven through fog like this. I just don't understand why people don't turn their lights on 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Cause I love turtles so that why I came to see 😊😊
Did you find those turtles on the road or did you find them on the side of the road or in the pond?
My cousin mows lawns and found one that was hurt and gave it to my mom, she nursed it back to 100%. He then found the other one crossing the road, and decided to also bring it to my mom. We had them in a small plastic tub, so I decided to try and make them a bit more comfortable.
you have to be careful on those roadways you might get hurt.
i love that bridge i like to take pictures of it when i was at my late uncle's funeral 9 years ago
why on earth has the usa not got fog lights?
Atchafalaya Basin Bridge!!
Actually this was I-10 Bonnet Carré Spillway Bridge
Don't panic but i think you no-clipped into a stephen king story
This is how your supposed to drive. Thanks driver for educateing the few.
Have seen and driven through far, far, far worse fog than this.
No Lights On such A bad Weather Condition Also No FOG lights ,no wonder you have bad accidents
one of the lucky ones
This was the one with the massive accident. Hope you didn't get caught up in that!
Dang it! Was waiting for the pileup!
That's ignorant.
@@VL1975 Why else post a stupid video driving through fog!
@@clqudy4750 People died in that pile up. You sound a bit giddy to see it..
@@VL1975I'm gonna tickle you until you pee, teehee!
Check engine light and low fuel lights on 😢😮
Check engine light is from a faulty coolant level sensor, and with my "low fuel light" on, I can still drive 200 miles. I got 250 gal capacity, so it's all good. Thank you for the concern 👍🏽👍🏽
lol....super fog......in Colorado we just call it fog
super fog is fog mixed with wildfire smoke...
@@AnnabelleJ I know......like in Colorado, every year
no one care.
@@VL1975 ha, you did just enough to comment on it
@@PolPotsPieHole still don't care.
Yep, that's what NORMAL fog looks like! Don't know about "super fog," when was the first sighting of such a thing? When I google it, it looks like it was just made up for that big accident ... no sightings have ever been seen before that.
another made up term to scare the masses....lol, super fog. Been living in the mountains for a decade now and we see "super fog" all the time when there is a fire....lol, super fog.....whats next super dooper fog
Is it a 'super fog' just because its really a regular fog but it caused horrific accidents because people are dumbasses and don't know how to drive when visibility conditions are poor?
Worked in Louisiana and took this bridge many times i always hated it. I don't recommend trying to cross it when you're low on gas lol I was stressed the whole time but did make it to a gas station before running out.
I can still drive 200 miles with that the "low fuel" light on. 250 gallons capacity 👍🏽👍🏽
Atchafalaya bridge or coming into New Orleans? Fog at night with headlights making it look like going thru a space warp 😵💫
And nobody even puts their lights on and just keep overtaking......what a bunch of ignorant drivers
No such thing as super fog how ridiculous. This is just really dense fog and a hype term used by propogandists news media outlets for clicks.
Looks like the movie silent hill
*Pyramid Head in the middle of the road* That's why they stopped.
Cool but just regular fog
Fog in a place that is surrounded and covered with water? Unbelievable! OMG! Call the cops!
I don't think you grasp that fog that thick isn't normal, it's caused by a mixture of fog and smoke and there happens to be a fairly large marsh fire near Michoud.
@@bubbleboi28lol, we see fog thicker than that on a weekly basis in the mountains, see fog so thick cant see the end of your hood or a person 15 feet from you, guess what, we just go on with life and everybody does alright
it looks like someone turned down the render distance to single digits
Try changing the settings on UA-cam. You can force it to display in 1080p. The normal settings usually is based on your connection speed.
@@angelcalles21 I was making a video game joke.
I read „Louisiana super FROG“, and now I’m very disappointed
not to be mistaken with highlands giga fog
Eh you guys are puzzy that's why you people ended up in a pile up 😂
If everyone on that bridge had been driving like this, there would not have been a massive pile-up. Thumbs up for safe driving in these dangerous circumstances!
I'm shocked so few people have their hazards on. This is arguably the most useful situation to use them. Glad you didn't get rear ended.
Please do not use your hazards in fog. What hazard are you warning others about? That there's fog? We can see that. Use your hazards in low visibility when you're stopped, slowing down, or you see a hazard that the vehicles behind you can't see yet.
Lmao you don't think fog is low visibility? Hazards allow the person behind you to see you bettter. A single second of reaction time can make the difference between you getting rear ended or not. @@loliswat8223
@@loliswat8223 great survival instincts buddy.
@@loliswat8223 You do realise the hazard would be making yourself invisible in the fog, right? It could cause an accident if other drivers can't see your vehicle through it and vice versa.
If your hazards are on on a major highway, I'm assuming you are STOPPED. Don't drive with your hazards on. That's not what they are meant for.
Never drive faster than you can see.
Care to break down the formula? 2 people are driving 30MPH in the same conditions, 1 person is in a compact car, the other is in a 25,000lb truck. are you suggesting they are both going to stop in the same distance?
what, and get plowed into from behind? No thanks 😏
Faster is the speed ergo distance in time and how far you see is distance, how do you compare it? Never heard anything less meaningful. BTW, I've driven in much denser fog.
I was in this type of weather, Key Bridge, Maryland, and all the sudden, visibility went to about ten feet. This was during covid and the road was empty, but when the bridge ended and the highway widened, I could not tell where I was . Crept along at walking speed, a guard rail appeared and I stayed close to it. Half mile later it cleared out. Had it not been for covid, it would have been bad, 'cause people don't slow down.
Most cars in the US don't have fog lamps. As to why it is like that I don't know, what I do know is that it's stupid... And some of the cars didn't even have the lights on...
I'm not surprised by that. Most people don't bother turning on their lights cause cars nowadays turns them on automatically when it's dark, but in fog the car doesn't think it needs them on
Thats just regular fog
Thanks for the video, but this is far from 'super-fog'. Super fog is when you can hardly see the side of the road. I have been in those conditions a few times.
I've been in that situation before. Snow storms as well. Safe travels...
This looks like Highway 99 and Highway 5 Central California.
True true, I used to drive up to Sacramento, so I know exactly what you mean.
Pac Northwest fog can lock the freeways. Thick cotton. Almost like the Scotland fog, Hoar fog, that brings you to a stop, or head-out-the-window at 10-15 mph.
Where I’m from we just call it fog . Can’t wait till our snow starts so the media can scare us with super snow, cyclone snow .
Yeah this is just fog.
lol, he can call it super fog if he wants. What’s your deal?
@@LetsMars he can call it whatever, as long as we all know man made climate change is a fraud
Same lol I was like this is just fog, nothing super about it 🤣
@@LetsMars And we can reply that there's nothing super about this very regular fog. What's *your* deal?

I'm here for the whacked-out, nutty comments.
FJB he's hiding food from the American people....
Is this where Nanci Pelosi stores her ice cream.....
Food shortages, meh!! We know where to seek food when SHTF.
What's it all about why are they storing food in those caves something fishy going on
The caves were created by mining limestone. Their modern day use is for warehousing . It's a constant 62F. Costs less to wall off a section and lower temp to freezing. Kraft has a chunk of this real estate to warehouse frozen food and dairy products like cheese. Would you be suspicious of a Kraft warehouse above ground? Plus they don't have to worry about tornadoes, flooding and snow storms. It's more cost efficient and safer.
I’m suspicious of underground facilities that are hush hush. 🤫
This is where the government is storing food..
