Replacing Navigation Screen on Lexus NX 2015-2017
There's a defect in the coating on the navigation screen for the 2015-2017 Lexus NX. This is addressed by Lexus service bulletin L-SB-0125-17 and replacement is covered under the basic warranty. However, this vehicle is a 2015, and is out of warranty, so I did the repair myself. I shot the video on my phone while doing the repair, so it's not a great video, but hopefully it helps if you have to do this repair yourself. Part number for the replacement screen is 86134-78020.

Hi how long did it take you do the whole process?
If you clean off the top scratched layer with rubbing alcohol. It will be nice and smooth again but if you want to go one step further. Buy a 7 inch tampered glass screen protector for $15 and slap it on there. Less work, little effort, doesn’t cost hundreds of $$ 😊

Hi, where did you get that cover replacement?
Part number is 86134-78020. It'll cost about $400 from the dealership, but I shopped around and was able to find one for about $300 on eBay.
