Green Party PEB1989 Euro Election "Slime-Child"
This was the election that saw the Greens gain 15% of the total vote, beating the Liberals handsomely into fourth place, and yet gain no seats. PR used in much of the rest of Europe meant that greens were elected as MEPs in many countries with lower vote shares.

The second Ecology Party Election broadcast in 1983 after managing to get enough candidates (over 50) to be entitled to one in 1979. 1979 produced a surge in membership and the early 80s saw a lot of concern and activity on the anti nuclear (civil and military) front.
