My favorite Zelda. My favorite temple, & my favorite boss fight. I do highly recommend that you at least complete the trading quest with the blue chicken. That one is a lot of fun.

I know it has already been mentioned but, yes you can just longshot all the way up and skip the whole thing. Do t feel too bad though, when I was playing through this the first time as a kid, even the strategy guid didn’t know. They have a two page explanation for how to get up.
