I came to know about this from her Azadi. I have been a huge fan of her writing and read The God of Small Things and The Ministry of Utmost Happiness, but I was surprised to find out this piece of gem. Like her writing, this movie was also as smooth as silk.

Architecture is more so ever about beauty of a structure but should be backed by civil engineering concepts too which today’s architects lacks a lot
This film is so good. I was struck by Roy's role as Radha, which is excellent, and so intelligent. The defense of her thesis was a revelation for me, but what surprised me was her assertion that perhaps the problems she posited do not have solutions, which although very wise, surprised me coming from her.
This is an excellent film, and it's great to see Arundhati Roy acting too.
