High End Features For A Lot, Lot Less | The Official Horage Event
My opinion doesn't have to please everyone. But the dial is completely overloaded, unbalanced. There are 276 fine lines arranged around the dial. 24 lines, 2 per five-second sector, have fallen victim to some aesthetic idea. One line every 0.2 seconds, so to speak. Can anyone tell me what the point of this is? The marking of a fifth, fifteenth, twenty-fifth, thirty-fifth, forty-fifth and fifty-fifth second makes no sense, and such markings make no sense even after decades, unless it is a chronograph. Moreover, the printed numbers are so absurdly small that additional doubts arise. In average light, all such attributes disappear into nothing, even with good eyesight. The silver moon is debatable. I would accept it. But the disproportionate plaque breaks up the design unnecessarily and appears far too prominent in view of the overly fine, overly subordinate font of the brand, which in itself offers no visual appeal. The fat, overly technical screws do the rest. I don't like the rough fractal pattern of the Founder Edition at all. They are following an unsightly fashion. Just like the texture of the EINSER Zentralsekunde, they are following a fashion. So here: nothing new. And customers may soon no longer want to see blue. It is a bit overused. The case is really beautiful, the crown, but above all the hands are exceptionally well done. The movement looks good, but at least it has to be good. And here I ask a heretical question. When is the time of exhibition casebacks finally over? When will we finally get beautifully engraved casebacks again? When will customers understand again that you don't have to see a movement to appreciate its craftsmanship? What I do welcome, however, is the decision not to follow the bph craze and to choose 18,000 bph. And here it would have been extremely innovative and even humorous to design a wonderfully engraved caseback that only had an exhibition window in the place of the slow-running balance wheel. This would also honor the design of the inner eccentric ring on the front. What I forgot to mention: the side power reserve window is definitely innovative and beautiful. And without invalidating my criticism of the details, the choice of colors for the Hong Kong Edition is extremely excellent. The Hong Kong Edition should be called the Founders Edition. You were very well served with the collaboration with A Watch Co. This should have happened sooner.
How to adjust?
what's the difference between this and a spring drive
Everything. This is fully mechanical. No Quartz or electrical input in running the escapement etc.
the spring drive is a hybrid concept, that somehow compromises with the pure mechanical DNA of the watch by using an electronic regulator. The Horage system maintains the mechanical soul of the watch by keeping the whole system totally mechanical
I just purchased the Ressence Type 1 Multi Color. I know it is an expensive watch, but gosh is this thing cool! Such an engaging and unique way to display the time. There is nothing out there like it in the market today. I have several fine time pieces and was ready to add something different to my collection. Ressence fit the bill perfectly.
Can i just say Oli is looking as fine as these watches :)
Thank you so much ! -
Incredibile watches.
Thanks for watching the series! -
But it doesnt have their famed micro rotor.
The omega chronograph is a great looking ⌚
Thanks so much for watching! -
Thank you for the review! Looking forward to Kolobok coming to life 😊

What's happened to Graham? I never see them mentioned or reviewed anywhere, but 10 years ago they seemed to around quite a bit. Is Graham still around?
Erebus the traitor, caused the entire horus heresy to occur. I detest the name erebus.
Quick release for when you're in London and you don't wanna lose a hand.
Can we expect a nice special box in view of the limited run ?
Amazing in RED
Brown nosing :CW worked!
Garbage in red
I ordered one. Pity for the added cost for Europe but ya well 🤷 With the more unclear delivery moment it's difficult to come and pick it up. Which I would do if possible.
I just changed the website currency to £, added the country of delivery to Germany and CW didn't increase the price. According to CW the final price paid includes all taxes and duties for the address entered: Taxes and duties are calculated according to your shipping destination and are itemised, where relevant on your order summary...all relevant local taxes and import duties are included in the price you pay, and you will not be responsible for any other charges." The card company charged me a fee to buy in the foreign currency but it still worked out €250 cheaper this way. The most annoying thing was that the 0% PayPal deal doesn't seem to apply outside of the UK. I would have paid via TransferWise to get a better deal, but that one week window is killer when you need to pay in full or want to take measures to get the best exchange rate. Maybe too late for this one, but a tip for any future purchases ;)
His movement was smoother than Rolex
The red Bel Canto looks amazing, especially on the white rubber. Have just placed my pre-order. Thank you Andrew.
Congrats Andrew
Does the spring bar remove on the antarctique S?
Yes it does we're happy to answer any other watch related question you have via email : info@thelimitededition.co.uk
Not everyone can be in your position to get involved in the process. I very much enjoy following your journey. Looking forward to seeing the next steps. Thanks for sharing
Great job! And congratulations to Andrew on these huge moves.
Will CW be adopting the new machining techniques utilised for the 12 X to improve quality further and speed up manufacturing?
Ain't gonna lie. Not mad on the red. Cheapens it. Burgundy would have smashed. Or sapphire or mirror dial. In fact mirror would look incredible.
The fact that there are so many subtle differences in the S and L models is amazing. However what is more of an issue is that even their website is not particularly clear in highlighting these differences. For context, I recently purchased a 38.5mm and it took some real digging around to understand how it differs from the larger model
One day I shall have one
Fair play to Andrew for resisting the temptation to have the only red dial Bel Canto. CW must have really made it worth his while & if not, why not?!?!?
great content guys, Bernard is fascinating - great insight.
Incredible production quality guys. Great to be able to be a part of this event too
Thanks for joining us! - &
What a lovely perspective on the technicalities explained like a masterpiece painting. Great discussion. Awaiting for more.

awesome artistry!
Great review, it's refreshing to see one about an innovative independent brand that is clearly leading with quality and originality and creating a unique identity. I love the looks of these watches. Jean Francois Mojon is a (humble) genius and these watches are clearly a testament to his skillset. I've worn that exact watch, DICE, in red/blue for a day and it's simply put, captivating. It's like an F1 race car, no expense was spared to achieve the ultimate machine.
46 hrs! WOW that's nearly half the 400 5 Day. 😂
people usually premiers one day ahead, some of the premiers and releases the video on the same day. I think they're very respectful towards their subscribers.
That's a really useful insight that we'll try to use in the future. Thank you so much for the help! -
No Ataelier Haute Complication news?
We had many brands to cover for the first episode. Hopefully we can cover even more next time. Thanks for tuning in! -
Great video!
That Antarctique dial is gorgeous!
Thanks for all of the support for the whole series! -
Gorgeous movement. For me, the perfect size for a dress watch is 36-38mm.
Lovely dial, great size. Looks good on your wrist.
Which watch brand is it
The full video with the watch brand can be found here : ua-cam.com/video/xWhQ5TD0Ggs/v-deo.html
Both beatiful, but on the wrist the blue is fantastic Oliver.
Pretty impressive.

Dude you realize the link you provide is not phone friendly. Next time. Plug the link and make it clicable. This is actually annoying for the viewer.
Hi there, for phone user we add the full video to the related video link. Hope this helps!
love it
Congrats on your Czapek Antarctique, a beautifully designed watch of exceptional quality I'm sure. Love the Salmon dial, a great choice for the summer. I'm intrigued as to the thinking behind the marketing for this watch? The last thing I imagine on Drake's mind, Sir Francis that is, as his boat nervously navigated around Cape Horn, was "Hmmm integrated bracelet or rubber?" To me, the elegance & beauty of the watch is as far removed from the terror of the seas as one could imagine. That's just me though. The rubber is a really nice alternative to the bracelet though, enjoy wearing it :)
Thank you. My boredom was much needed to quieten my rest. Goodnight.
Thanks for watching. You can read more about it here : www.thelimitededition.co.uk/product/antarctique-passage-de-drake-s-salmon-38-5mm/
