Medical Education Flamingo
Приєднався 26 вер 2020
I'm trying to create well-quality content about Medical Education. Information I present is mostly backed by scientific articles that you can find in description section of every video.
Who am I?
I am an MD and have a PhD degree in Medical Education. I live in Turkey.
Why do I create content?
1st is that I wanted to challenge (therefore improve) myself.
It’s a challenge since (1) I am not a native English speaker even I have never spoken English to anyone before 2020, (2) I haven’t known anything about video editing before 2020, (3) I have so many daily tasks that prevent me allocating time to create content.
2nd reason is I want to spread information in a form that is easily digestible. Reading a scientific article is difficult for many people but watching video is not. Spreading information is an intrinsic motivation for me without a reason.
3rd is to know awesome people in this space, to be in contact with my peers. In short, I want to get involved in this community of practice.

Could Doctors Misdiagnose You Because They Read Newspaper?
Hi, I've just discovered your channel, nice content! I've also commented on another video. I think your concept is amazing and well executed, but in this video I have two suggestions because it stops quite abruptly: - How old are the "older adults"? I know for details the viewer can check the description, but I think this is essential information. - What is the conclusion? People click the video to get the question answered. Now the video leaves me a little bit unsatisfied I notice. Nothing but praise for your videos, but you strike me as the creator the welcomes feedback! Keep up the good work!
Wow very cool video! Don't know why it pops up in my recommended, but the algorithm did it again. I'm a student myself and I'm a bit of a geek and ChatGPT user, so this is really interesting to me. Another thing that I really like is the format of your video! I'm really attracted to the idea of making scientific research easily accessible and easy to understand for everyone by creating a short, clear, to the point video that explains the concept without shortchanging the scientific basis and models. Combined with a calm, clear voice, a flamingo and "Boost", by Joakim Karud made me decide to leave a comment. Subscribed!
I’d trust chat GPT over most GP’s I’ve been to. At least chatGPT isn’t a grumpy douche.
Background music is annoying..Otherwise good content
i mean even this video is too many talking and wasting time, cut all the bs and just jump to the point, "is it bad or not". thats why people watch on 2x speed so they can get the information faster than hearing so many useless information
Listening to humans who speak slowly is never on my to-do list. People who continually add "ums" and "ahs" in their sentences will be deleted, regardless of speed.
Great video, quick and to the point, only 1:18 long.
Then you can watch the lecture again, and spend the same time.
That test is fundamentally flawed. While it showed no difference, the people watching at 2x speed may simply differ in their ability to retain information, regardless of video speed. They may also vary in their test-taking skills, meaning the results don't definitively reflect the study's conclusions.
Thank you for your comment. Randomized assignment to the groups relieves the concerns about unequal groups in terms of any characteristics and ability. By doing so, we know that the two group were not different.
I love the power of AI!❤🤖
Very helpful and timely comment on that "learning pyramid". It certainly rests on the shakiests of grounds!
I wonder if the long term memory is affected at 2x
It definitely needs to be studied.
Your background music is louder than your voice.
We want i video on how to use chatGPT in writing research
😁😁😁😁😁
Great video, very useful.
Thank you for your comment. Glad it helped!
1 minute and 10 seconds saved :D
Thanks a lot it's explicit!
thanks
I'm surprised this video doesn't have millions of views, it deserves them 100%. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind comment. I don't expect high number of views because the video is about a very specific topic that address a low number of community members. But it is useful for the specific audience, of course. Hope it helped!
Lets file petition for 4x speed
good to know this.
Thank you for sharing this. Really interesting and will be beneficial certainly. Apart from the prompt needing to be optimised and the review, is there anything else you recommend?
Thank you for your comment. There are many more to recommend but I could not fit into a comment.
2x speed is still slow for me with some videos 😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
Same here😂

Estoy contento porque te gustan los videos. Gracias para tu comentario!
Thank you very much
Thank you too for your kind comment!
You made it easy to learn! Thanks
I can’t watch in 1x speed anymore. It’s too hard
Did you use english language cases for turkish students or did you translate them to turkish? or did you generate the cases in turkish? Did ChatGPT translate them? I can't access the full atricle I'm afraid, but my first thought is that human translation would skew the results.
Thank you for your question, it's completely fair to ask this as you had no access to full article. We generated the cases in English and did not need to translate because we conducted this study in our English medicine programme. The students were fluent in English but most of them were not native speakers.
Hi there, I need some questions, please help me where can I download

When the world will discover holochain will look back at blockchain and ask itself why the hell they were using it because it makes no sense when you have a solution like holochain.

Cool. Good to see demos of apps on this running on Holochain
does it cause eye strain or tiredness more quickly??
It would be an interesting research question.
As a person with ADHD, if I can’t watch at 2x, I’m like not going to watch it. Also, listening past 2x such as 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x requires practice. I remember more when I listen at 3x because I’m less likely to get bored and stop listening. But I’ve been listening to things on 2x for years so its not the same as a random sample from a study. Hence why academic studies (especially experiments) are not supposed to be treated as fact. These studies are just evidence or support.
Thank you for this wonderful comment! It is just a piece of evidence, not more than that.
Whaaaaat so adhd is a good thing? I wouldn't understand anything beyond 2x... My brain would just skip infos even at 2x
But how do you guys even know you have adhd?
Hello!! I'm interested to study medicine in spain .I would like to connect with u inorder to clear some of my doubt .is there any possible way
