@@Pantherfan-59 I’m using the Ryzen 7 5700X3D and an RTX 2080. There is some performance problems with shaders on inside my base but only because I have a bajillion machines in my basement. Keep your machines spaced out and you won’t have any problems.

Using the Mechanical Drill and a few water wheels from the Create mod, I begin constructing an automatic cobblestone generator, a very useful build for early game. I’m using andesite shafts and planks to create cogwheels @3:19:00 . Large and small cogwheels speed up the rotation of the drill a bit. I hold W on most Create items for a nice in-game guide. I get distracted because the water wheel recipe is different from another mod pack lol. I gather lava @3:23:00 and test the generator, but I want the drill to mine faster so I add in some cogwheels for speed. The water wheels provide easy power for early game, but I ended up needing to add some more water wheels to provide more stress units. It’s dark, but I ended up with 3 water wheels, 2 large cogs and 2 small cogs. If you want to learn more about the Create mod, there is a mod pack called Create: Above and Beyond where you visit the moon using a quest-like system that teaches you the about the mod. For me, I press ‘L’ to bring up the advancements menu. For Alex’s Mobs specifically, there’s lots of ways such as getting sprayed by a skunk. Had to log in to double check. The bushier leaves is actually a texture pack, but I was assaulted by a skeleton before I could explain. Simply press “Esc” then in “Resource Packs” you should find Xali’s bushy leaves. Click the arrow to move it to the left and click done. Comments like these make me a better streamer, so thank you.

@@ethanrouleau6829 There is an option in the SteamVR status window to open a “VR View Window” I find that recording this window is better for performance, but it’s not perfect. I used to record the game window by pressing F5 and changing the in game settings. I haven’t tried that since U12 but I’m still testing things. There is also a memory leak in the game, so restarting the game often will help with performance. I’ll let you know if I find a better solution. I have an RTX 2080 so I have more headroom than most.

What...about it reminds you of skyrim? There are medieval weapons and magic, I'll give you that, but what about the gameplay reminds you of skyrim? Also skyrim VR is nothing like this, the physicality, the interaction. Skyrim VR is basically flatscreen skyrim but you can look around a bit.

you have to make a new character and select crystal hunt instead of sandbox mode :) I was stuck with that too lmao best thing to do is to make 1 Crystal Hunt character and 1 Sandbox character to play everything

@@Genetics_YT Are you a Nomad player? Nomad’s update is coming later. If you own the PCVR version on Steam you can try ‘verify game files’ or check to make sure you’re NOT enrolled in a beta version of the game (you should not be in a beta version.) If you own the PCVR version on the Oculus/Meta store you may need to reinstall the game as IDK if you can repair the game or force an update. Hope this helped!

Complementary Reimagined shaders. They come with the modpack so it has extra Valhelsia compatibility. In the files it’s called ComplementaryReimaginedv5.1.0+ValhelsiaTexturesv1.0 or something similar.
