I think something important to remember is that if you don’t like something you can always cover it up! Paste some paper in (white/brown/colours/patterns/whatever) and rewrite it! Cover things in stickers! There are always options
@@alexschofield8085 that’s so true!! I always go into my spreads thinking they have to be perfect from the get-go and if it’s not, then I end up leaving it alone 😅

Absolutely loved the insights, Jessica. ❤️ I am a fan of novels too, but constantly face reader's block. Any tips of how to overcome this block though? Just yesterday, I finished White Nights by Fyodor D, it was a short story hence I was able to wrap it up in an hour or so, oherwise for the standard ones with 300-500 pages, I just lose interest after reading 50 pages or so...idk why.
Thank you for watching! ☺ I would maybe recommend easing into reading longer books if you don't have any trouble with reading short stories! Maybe some novellas or shorter books within the 100-200 or <300 page range to start building up your interest in reading longer books :) It could also just be that you enjoy short stories more!

I really like how you do your journal. Im hoping to start next year with my own journal and yours is really good inspiration. At 12:35 I think it would help if you made the blue part thicker, so the pink is less noticeable. I agree that the pink is darker than the swatch, but I do like how it looks! The contrast gives your eyes something to focus on.

I want to read a story, having a love triangle with both equally good love interests. The female lead is very insecure, and she loves the main lead and vice versa. The second leads also live selflessly but she never notices his pure love. There should be suspense and mystery. Any suggestions?
I love how specific this is!! I haven't read this series in years, but this kind of reminds me of The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I know people who read it recently think the love triangle in this series is really good! Let me know what you think/ if you've read it before :)
I’m also reading Heartless Hunter by Kristan Ciccarelli right now and I feel like it would fit this description too!

Thank you for saying One Dark Window is more fantasy than romance =) It's super high up on my wish list, and but I was nervous it would be too romance heave for my taste. I still haven't really heard anyone talk about this book who doesn't like it!

I could definitely understand the negative reviews, but I would still say it's worth a try! I'd love to hear your thoughts if you end up reading it 🙂 I've only read the Part of Your World series by her and I loved it! Yours Truly was my favourite 🫶
