I did the exact same thing with mine my friend, mine went inverted and headed towards the ground which was concrete.Mine was totally obliterated, internals still worked like just needed a new frame, my friend wanted it so I traded back with him for my old Bugs 3. Now I fly Bugs2 which has GPS, Bugs 6 (cheap but GREAT, also carries a Gopro) I really miss my quattro x, I really loved the thing - it just looked so right and flew like a sky truck!!! I would advise you though the Bugs 2 is just as good a ship and is only £70, so better value.Happy flying :¬) Rob

Most likely both the driver and the porter got the boot if they were agency. He should of reversed into that road, not driven into it and then reversed onto your drive. The porter is also supposed to guide the driver back every time he reverses but they hardly ever do, DHL rules.

There was an issue with your blades at start to much vibration...Then youve hit wind while tipping it thus knocking it off...On top I aint a clue but we had one go up and up and never seen again 😂 All good fun...

Bought a quarto X 2 months ago had a few issues with it doing some scary things sent it back 3 weeks later had it back took it out on Sunday to an old golfing rage where I normally fly put my go pro 4 on it calibration check gps check !! Flew it around seems to fly ok so took it up over trees flicked return to home ..... nothing flicked back to gps mode not responding flicked in to manual mode nothing so I watched in horror as it started drifting away in to a small dot been looking for 2 days now and can't find it feel sick to my stomach my go pro had a £50 micro sd card in it from all my videos I'm gutted :(

Can someone please help me!? I have just bought the Quattro x yesterday. Flew it about 5 times with no problem.. Then I had the same problem that Richard Wells is speaking of. Totally lost control and it went crazy I couldn't controld it and it only stopped going crazy when I pulled the battery.. The hobby shop is being real rude and telling me it's not the Quattro x it would definitely be user error but and they will get back to me "one day this week" as I'm new to this I was devastated because I was dreaming of flying it today after I spent my hard earned cash on it. Is there anywhere I can take this further?? Like an email for the manufacturers? And what sort of leg do I have to stand on in this situation?

Ive had a couple of issues with mine loosing control as well. Have no confidence in it at all now.

UPDATE: As you'll know I took mine back to the shop along with a letter and a copy for him to give to the supplier. In it I said I want a full refund under The Sale of Goods Act as the product was not suitable for the purpose that I bought it i.e. it should respond to the controls that came with it. I also stated that I will not accept a replacement as I could not risk it flying into someone at full speed and removing their face. Today I had a full refund.

Just come across this post. Seems there must be an inherent fault as I had almost the same experience. Took off in GPS mode started a circle about 12' away and whoosh off it went flat out and no response from controls, flicked Go Home, nothing, it disappeared over farmland out of radio range and didn't return as it should. Amazingly one of my flying club members visited his dad and saw the quad in his shed. Apparently Dad was walking his dog in his field, heard a bleeping sound, saw it and took it home. Fortunately the member knew I'd had one runaway and I collected it today. Not sure I'll trust it ever again but having read your experience I'll be sending it back with the tx.

Was wifi used for your camera? Have been told by hobby shops and also a few people on youtube have tested it and said it cause them to fly away

So any idea what happened then? I have one of these so I would be interested to find out why it ran away like that. I noticed one or two large comms towers nearby, I'm no expert but could they have had something to do with it? Glad you found it anyway and on dry land too! One thing to be taken away from this is to land as soon as you hear a beep, it dropped pretty quickly!!
