Clean video.. l love it.. and am also building my own start-up app. love it. bro.
Thanks 🙏
where do you get your wework passes? let me guess, Revolut?
Yes 👍🏼
Nice video again Jaume! :) keep pushing!
Thanks Gabriel 🙂
Why dont you use redis ?
You mean for rate limiting? We plan on using other managed solution from upstash.
Another banger Jaume, Bona Sort :)
Thanks Zazo! 🫡
Hey, I am a software developer from india and its very good to watch your videos, I will be happy to collaborate and work with you if you want.
Also sent you a connection request on linkedin
I will accept it 🫡
@@DevelopedByJaume Looking forward to collaborate

Thanks for your Videos, i enjoy them so much. We really need a link with your clothes, you always looks so fresh.
Hahahaha. You got me. My girlfriend has a really good taste with clothes, I learned from her. But the hoodie and tshirt are from Nude Project, trousers from Uniqlo. 🤝🫡
Muchas gracias ☺️
Hello, just wanted to tell that you are really inspiring. I wait for your videos every week. Also, the views might not be it considering the amount of effort you put into videos, I don`t know if you also edit them, but don`t despair. You are building a community that is passionate about SWE. And you are not like the other Day in the life youtubers that try to sell the dream. Not everything is pink in our domain. Moments of calm like these are part of work. Calm but that doesn`t mean that there are no deliverables. It`s just that there is a difference between a week when you need to ship a product(like in previous videos, which were insane btw, I was actually able to sense the tension just by watching, mainly thanks to good choice of music and good editing, hats off) and a week when you are starting to work on a product. Anyways, just to say, thanks for your content. Keep it up.
Hello, thanks for taking the time to write this comment. Thanks a lot for your words. They really mean a lot to me. I edit the videos myself, I do what I can hahahaha. I'm glad you enjoy my videos and I hope you like the future ones. 🙏
Love the weekly uploads! Have you thought about doing some sort of code with me live stream ( you dont have to show the code if its secret ) just for the sake of coworking
No, I haven't. What would you suggest, just open the camera and work? 🤔
@@DevelopedByJaume For me the most interesting part is how you orgenize your code (Im a front end developer with less than one year of experience ) and id love to learn maybe better techniques as im still searching for my first job and get better views on good practices. I know from the videos you use next/react and nodejs which is the stack im using. Let me know if this is possible and you like the idea (:
Nice video Jaume! How is it the experience to grow an startup in Spain?
Thanks. I think it's too early to answer your question properly. So far so good, but haven't faced any HUGE problems so far (sure they will come at some point).
i love your videos man i wait for them
Wow! Thanks :) It really means a lot 🙏 Trying to not dissapoint :)
@@DevelopedByJaume Amazing work! i think your one of the best youtubers in this category
I like the way you always explain technical details simply in every of your content that i have watched ...nice content
I try. Thanks for your comment 🫡
Me encantan tus videos!
Un vlog entretingut i local, segueix així Jaume!
Merci Sergio!
Muy buen video, muy intersante
Gracias! 🤩
Thanks for the video! :D I'm a Data Scientist | ML Engineer that is currently working in Barcelona too! I'd like to join a growing company like yours, is there any opportunities in your company? If not, do you know what is the best way to find a job in a startup here in BCN? Thanks again for this type of content! :)
If you are looking for a small startup, I would say is mainly done by contacts. Attend to events, maybe attend to Itnig Podcast and stay till the end. If you are looking for big startups, Linkedin.
@@DevelopedByJaume Thanks! Do you recommend any platforms such as linkedin etc? I'm struggling to find serious startups in BCN to join
Muy buen video la verdad !
Muchas gracias ☺️
Hola Jaume. Hace unos años casi me multaron.
Such a good video 🙂
Thanks Joffrey 🫡😀
Brutal 🚀🚀
Muchas gracias Marcos!
Está guay el contenido Jaume :)
Gracias 😅🙃
nice video Jaume :)
Thanks! 🤩
I love the transitions you make between work and daily things you do! keep up the good work
Thanks Eric 👌🏽🫡
bro is ltrly living the dream
Thanks dude
Nice video Jaume! If I may make a suggestion, could you later debrief your experience migrating your app from Remix to NextJS? I'm kind of curious on how this worked. :)
It has been quite easy. Just migrating from the Remix Form to ReactHookForm has been a bit "pain in the a**". The rest, if you understood the code in Remix, was easy (but not fast) to migrate to NextJS.
@@DevelopedByJaume Noice! haha Thanks man, I really enjoy watching your content. Makes me very excited to visit Spain and Barcelona. And Mallorca is amazing btw! I've being there :D
+6yoe. saludos y great video
Normal normal, demasiadas horas... hahahah Ahora no estamos contratando. Muchas gracias por tu comentario :)
nice video man
Thanks!
Bueno ver hispanos haciendo contenido estratégico en inglés! Sigue así y buena suerte! 👌
Muchas gracias :)
Pero en Jaume és català
Noice, btw how much the salary in spain as software engineer?
It depends. First job, maybe 25k. CTO, 100k. I would say if you have 3-5 years you could ask for 38-42k. After that, it depends a lot on how you negotiate. Hope is helpfull.
Hey dude you know what salary I should ak for if I'm joing as a 3rd ML Founding engineer to a startup which raised like 1.5 million in Pre-Seed? I'm kinda lost what salaries to ask for here in BCN.
It depends on your experience and if you want stock aswell... I'm not an experet with VC backed salaries. Sorry.
What's the name of the song at the 5:30 mark?
it's "roi videoclub"
yes, thanks :)
It seems you're building an E-2-E data pipeline from sensors to dashboard. I can see Owner (End-User) having great benefit to this. Have you thought about having an Testing&QA prospect on this? (happy to connect :))
We are doing it in-house, thanks :)
La mochila, podrías decirme que marca es? Saludos!!
I would like to ask something out of curiosity. How easy is it for a developer to get a remote job in Spain? I am asking from the perspective of a beginner web developer. A general answer would also be fine for me.
If you are junior, is quite hard, not gonna lie. If you are senior, is a little bit more easy.

Juame, me encantan tus vídeos!
No prometo res hahahaha
Love your vlogs! I really like your watch what brand is it ?
It’s an old Gucci. It’s not automatic, but it’s nice. My mum gave it to my dad.
Visca Barca , Visca Catalunya
Necesitamos mass contenido
Lo intento lo intento… no me da la vida 🥵 hahahaha
Is the entire stack using Next.js? Or is it just Next.js for the frontend and something else for the backend? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Mainly yes
@@DevelopedByJaume Oh kl, have you not considered using something like Nest.js (which is a more opionated version of Node.js)? Just curious
Hi, I want to join your company as a fresher, could you guide me regarding the application process? Also, could you please share your email or LinkedIn for further discussions?
Hello, our hiring pipeline is currently full. Once we are hiring again, I will say it in a video or something similar. Thanks for your interest.
Do you come and go to the office with plane every single day? I'm curious is it right?
Noo, normally I spend two weeks in Barcelona and I go to Mallorca for a weekend or so. Imagine taking a plane every time I need to go to the office…
do u recommend ur Logitech key? (ofc u do, but is there a catch that'll make me wanna bail on this?) I want to buy it
I really like it. Its comfortable to work for ours on it. Maybe consider getting the keyboard without the numpad. I dont use it as much and I would appreciate a bit more space in my backpack. Hope it helps.
Might be late, but Id recommend looking into split keyboards. Honestly a life saver for me
great and benefit content keep on bro
Thanks dude. Happy you like it 👍🏼
