Our story, His writing - An Adoption Story
Hope, Loss, Joy, grief, Prayer, and Love.
This girl has taken us on the most beautiful journey for the past 2 1/2 years. She has been wanted and loved for so long. She grows every day trusting us and choosing us to be her parents. Her heart has been through so much and yet she lights up the room with her Joy.
Life is hard, life isn't fair but it's your choice and right to fight everyday for the ones you love and you have to fight EVERY SINGLE DAY. You can't give up, or give in. I stayed strong and brave for my little one as I knew what she was going through before we could hold her in our arms.
Aubrey Mae, You are truly beautiful inside and out.

You should have shown the live video of her and how you finally soothed her into trusting you. You should have been real and shown how hard it is on the child. You could have made a difference for others to see the effect this does to someone. It was her chance to.
These videos are usually for their children and not you. You aren't entitled to anything they don't want to share. So what they should have done is what they did do

For the life of me, I don't know why the children are not placed as young infants. The more videos I watch it seems the children are traumatized by being taken from foster parents more than anything else.
I’ve been wondering that too. They should be United with their adoptive parents as infants, not toddlers.

They are. It's never a bad thing to give a child a home and family that had none. It truly does not matter where they come from. All deserve it
