Personally I think the S1000 Stargazer is my fave if I had to choose one. More retro and more of a talking point. The Gladiator is cool but the body feels more like a torso (if that makes sense). But then I do like the black colour.... Best thing to do is get both as they are on sale at the moment 😂😂

Fair comment. Can't say I disagree entirely. The move to the butterfly clasp on the classic helps as, you're right, this clasp was just too bulky for such a petite frame

I have three smart watches and several mechanical. I love the tech that comes with a smart watch but I do find the stats (step count, calories burnt, distance walked etc) is meaningless without consistent stats - which would mean I'd have to wear the smart watch every day... something I'm not prepared to do

The Giorgio Martino Rovalex is a cheap imitation of this mate. Still decent quality though if you prefer the Rovalex. Both cases are made from the same material but the D1 Milano has a polycarbons strap (the Rovalex is a silicone strap). D1 Milano is a lot more expensive 😂

The D1 Milano has a Seiko VJ21 quartz movement and the Giorgio Martino will have a cheap Chinese movement. Both have a mineral crystal. Both are probably made in Shenzhen, China. The D1 Milano will feel nicer as it's polycarbon all the way around the wrist where as the Giorgio Martino will have a rubber strap. The D1 Milano will be about £120 more than the Giorgio Martino but to be honest, if you like the design, go for the Rovalex. Can't go wrong for fifty quid.

@@walkaroundwatches blinkin eck mate I like your style buddy aye it will just be a nice swatch like look that I loved as a kid in the 80's but they just don't seem to do it for me any more as an older 51 yo guy in the future as it were mate you're right though the price difference is chalk and cheese and I like the plain dial face of the rovalex bottom dollar and sorry for asking this but...what would you go for homie I'm seriously undecided here mate 👍
