My first airplane ride was on a TWA Constellation! The power in those engines at takeoff is thrilling!

The TWA terminal was built as just that,a terminal.Not quite the same now as a hotel.And that super constellation interior is so remote from its original format as well.!.Those steps have a few holes that surely could be fixed.!.But at least the aircraft is stunning on the outside.

i want twa to come back,it will only happpen if it is in allahs will,but however,i live just a few minutes away from jfk,and ive been to the twa hotel,and got on the connie.r.i.p.twa and the connie.

If only planes interiors were like that still you could take the family and have a chill flight but have the plane jet powered so it’s quieter and cheaper on fuel And you could bring more cargo because there won’t be as many people as well way less cargo!

That weather wasnt too bad at all. I've landed in 35+ knot gusts as a passenger and the pilots did an amazing job, especially considering the fact that it was 2am and pitch black outside. It's amazing what pilots are trained for. As a student pilot myself I find it somewhat difficult to land in a 20 knot crosswind, let alone anything near 30 kts.
