You had the mount before the nerf and it was very easy at the beginning of the expansion but now the drop is at 1/2000. All these good spot are very bad now, it will be just a wasting time, the best way to get shards is to kill the bees or wolves in group, you should not tell at everyone "that's pure RNG", I had 10 shards in 24k mobs killed since this nerf..it was very painfull lol. I think many people are confused by the drop of these shards because it's very difficult to get a single shard since the S1.

Best way for blood is ara kara follower by far, was getting almost 100 blood per run

I got 230 something Nerubian Chitin in just 2 hours, but only got 1 Crackling Shard from it. It was my first Crackling Shard and I spent more hours doing almost all sidequests on Isle of Dorn

Me who did seisbarg and bee mount yea 6/10 it’s too rare lol imo. They hardly drop.

There is another variant of this but that is a boss drop and it's SUPER RARE so better this then doing the same boss for weeks only to be meet with nothing

Got the quest, but I'm gonna do it passively. After all this whole expansion I will kill bugs and spiders and the mount is meh anyway. Not a big fan of this model I already got the demon, bats and gargoyles body type of this mount and when I'm riding one of these I fell like I'm standing high on a truck. And this one also has the most horrible design with clipping wings.

Thx for great video. The drop rate of the shards has to have been nerfed. Right now I have, according to rarity, almost 10k kills and 9 shards and around 1,3k kills since last shard. Going insane cos I really want that mount ;)

I have 13 80s now - 1 of each class - I know, I'm nuts. I do the main quest line and on 11 all the side quests in the first zone - not 1 shard on any toon. This doesn't include dailies and delves (if they even drop in delves). What am I missing? Are there specific mobs or areas? I was led to believe there weren't, however...

Really wish they would just put an AH mount in the cash shop for a reasonable price. They removed it from the game through normal means to force players at the end of BFA to spend real money buying tokens. Because most players do not make that sort of money in the game to afford a 5 million gold mount. I still don't have 5 million gold. If tokens are going for at least 200k gold each that is $1000 dollars just for an in game mount. Which is incredibly insane for just having a mobile AH. Unless they add one to the shop it is impossible for me to own one. I can not even max out my professions on the 1 and only character I am playing.

i mean, by now everyone knows that the best way to farm de 1500 items for the first quest is solo q follower dungeon ara-kara, city of echoes and kill all up to second boss then leaving

I have tried for 2 weeks to kill this boss … it never spawns .. so dumb.. if your going lock a mount behind a quest line that takes forever to do at least make the boss spawn every hour … I have a life and can’t sit in a platform for 10 hours

I never realized they removed the AH mount. That's infuriating. Why would you do that? 5 million gold still sucks to get.

for the aurelid, if you log out after looitng, you keep the buff...if you are also famring the sword transmog...or wait a weekly reset to get another lure (free) , and only 1 loot chance per daily reset

Cool mount! I got 2 shards in early access when I was doing the campaign. Haven't gotten any after doing all the side quests and getting almost 500 chitin. :(

i did the main quests and side quests on my first toon, then my friend told me about the shards, turns out i had 6 in my bags 😅

I got the first 3 in under 1k mobs, 4th one , I am at 3.7 k mobs and still did not dropped yet.
