The actors in the movie cannot be matched by any in the TV series. It was such an amazing cast that it’s a shame that the rest of the movies were not made.❤

The movie is so amazing that I cannot believe the other books were not made into movies. Evidently, I read that they found them too difficult to transfer from book to movie. But the Shadowhunters series is a far cry from the movie. I tried to watch it, but after seeing the movie I couldn’t be bothered. The actors just don’t make the grade in the TV series versus the movie. I love the actors that were chosen to be Jace and Clary and Alec and Bane in the movie. Stellar. 🖤

Finally I can express my opinion: the series sucks. Having been made BEFORE the film and with very good and credible actors, first of all Jamie Campbell Bower: Jace and Lily Collins Clary I never understood the VERY WRONG choice of NOT choosing Jamie and Lily again. They they were, have been and will always be just PERFECT for the film and would have been so successfully in the series too. Not having chosen them led many (including me) to not want to watch the series, disgusted almost immediately by the paucity of the performers (except few exceptions).No emotion (on the contrary great chemistry between Jamie and Lily).I always hope and hope for a second film with the two of them...hope is the last to die and there are many books...Jamie would be PERFECT in the role of the angel!!!
