I loved this book. It promises romance, magic, flora and suspense. I thank you so much for all your hard work and great job also on the narration. A 1000 percent better than AI. I wasn't certain so I viewed back in your videos and I believe you read your books. All I can say is 🎉 well done.

I absolutely adored these. I had VHS (in german). I really loved the music in these and I didn't mind that they were a bit darker, though I was scared but curious and fascinated as a kid by some scenes. But then again, I always seemed to have a side for the darker side of movies. I love that Hansel and Gretel used music from a real opera. Beauty and the Beast was my least favourite. The kiss in the end is so bad. They both look like they don't wanna be there.

Personally, I’m a fan of the Cannon Movie Tales adaptations of “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Frog Prince”, “Snow White”, “Sleeping Beauty”, and “Hansel and Gretel” and watch them from time to time still. :) Just be glad you didn’t see Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Hansel and Gretel”… that’s even more messed up.

Also, I felt your deep pain at not being able to open the gherkin jar... that happens to be more often than I'd like to admit and it is just torture hahah. Honestly, I give myself a month to take care of one round of feedback. I do two rounds, one of early (eaaarly) readers, for developmental edits. Then fixes and then a new round then editor. With my current wip, I’m giving myself two months, because I feel like the book needs it. I’m also doing a new round of betas in between. And I honestly I feel a bit overwhelmed. 😵‍💫

With the RA Salvatore books yes, start with the book one... you can read either trillogy first. The Darkelf series is chronologically first, but the Icewind Dale series was first, exile comes after both of those series. If you havent heard of Drizzt Do'urden then you are missing one of the most iconic fantasy characters of all time. Must read. (warning: there's 40+ books ahead for Drizzt)

Absolutely start your Eddings reading with Pawn of Prophecy and the Belgariad series. The Mallorean is a continuation of that same world/characters and will make much more sense if you have read the Belgariad.

"She falls in love with the Beast and... unfortunately, breaks the spell." You get it. I think the Beast's make up was well enough. I can appreciate sfx/prosthetics... whatever the kids are calling it these days.
