Good episode. The game Yan is referring to is ATV Off Road Fury for PS2. I still play it to this day as well as the newer MX vs ATV games
Such a great collab nonetheless. From the 253 to the 206, much love to IDW. Real WA Deathcore!!! ❤️
Whitechapel’s new material sounds like it’s trying to be Lorna 😢
When I heard Lorna Shore for the first time, I immediately referenced the vocals towards Cattle Decapitation. That whole Smigel, Snarling growl never really was around. I only heard it from them until Lorna Shore came around, and then other bands immediately after. It was like a contagion, almost like all the new younger kids had never heard anything like it but for me, I’ve heard this come from again, Cattle Decapitation.. Years went by and nobody cared about it up until now. It seems like when a band that has breakdowns, adopts an older sound, it all of a sudden becomes new again. Mostly In the eyes of a younger crowd that has not yet dove into older death metal. But that’s just in my opinion. I just find it funny that a lot of crossover was happening with people resembling similarities of other friends. I have that completely hated the death metal genre that only loved Hard core, death core or punk.. I like it all and I felt that I kept seeing the scenes merge more and more as the years progressed.
Cam and Jonathan are my heroes.
gets COVID-makes a new band and album
Im curious if ppl think the same thing about bands like Disembodied Tyrant and Synestia?
It's so awesome how humble he is considering how many perceived him as a infamous deathcore vocalist. Based! Had like 100 ads in this video!
shout out to immortal disfigurement
Shadow Of Intent > Lorna Shore
I agree. But that doesn't mean other bands aren't trying to sound like Lorna Shore.
@Rowanexen I'm not a fan but it's cool people do. They've brought new eyes to genre which is good on them.
Carnifex >
I've seen these guys twice, they put on a great fucking show
Judaism doesn’t evangelize people…
This conversation needs a "You know whadda mean" counter! Caught Signs on the tour with Cattle, got a new found respect for them after that. They don't fuck around! David is a beast, thanks for the chat, this was great to listen to!
Man Saud is one of my favorite vocalist to do any type of highs. You cannot know who is playing but once the vocals hit you can tell who the vocalist is. So glad that TCA is putting out music again.
Everything this man has been apart of is pure gold.
Ultragold
@ Ahhhh I see what you did there
Spite is angry and pissed off. You need Darius on the show
Colton and Leo added to the band is wild
Brown Jeep in the chat
Such a legend🫡
sickkkk
This dudes voice man.... it's perfection
PSYCHO-FRAME 🗣
Vatican fucking rules
hell yeah
Incredible band! 🔥
You guys have time to talk more about my lord and savior Joey?
THEY SAY MY GOD IS DEAD
Why did TCA originally break up?
Why is JoJo so funny
I’m not Christian anymore but my favorite memory was when I met Saud and TCA in Indy and asked them to play at my church. We had a fucking blast. They played the weekend conviction came out so we got the cds a couple days early. Forever a TCA fan. 🤘🏻
Real ones remember Saud doing guest vocals on Party Foul for Attack Attack!
Guardians is one of the best albums in metalcore history. Riff after riff, it holds up so well
Tbh, Cam going off about his songwriting chops is a masterclass, should be clipped and shown to everyone
The beginning of this made my brain hurt already gen z humor. Gen Z is the humor xD
It was the tough guy straight edge era. The scene was weird but great. Good time to be alive
Was late to the guys but damn they are sick. G code blasting everyday.
"Conviction" is such an underrated album. I'm convinced *to this day* that if it would have been released under a different band name, it would have blown up. I had that album on repeat in 2011-2012.
Dude it was SO good and I 100% agree. Another band would have blown up from it
Big same
Bozeman and Labonte.
Phil is tha man!
Haha i remember when i first found Waking The Cadaver back in 2006-2007. Cool to see that theyre still around.
May all the 5'7 and below dons rise up
Damn that's deep and that was no coincidence my friend
He’s not wrong about rap shows being heavy as fuck too! Ghostemane live in Detroit was the craziest shit iv seen and I loved it!
Saw sanguisugabogg with suicide during the tour and both bands killed it
good shit. let's be honest toddlers being connected to online games is what's ruining it. Smart phone / ipad games got them wanting a gaming system and now they are probably the bigger skin / camo buyers.
Great episode!
Literally the best episode in the history of podcasts (unbiased).
Where can i find myspace deathcore mondays that he was talking about?
Fun episode guys!
ethanol alcohol is literally one of the worst substances ever, and the way it’s viewed in society makes it that much worse. it’s one of the only drugs that can KILL YOU if you try and quit taking it, and it’s one of the worst drugs for the human body. it’s LITERALLY a neurotoxin, it’s hepatotoxic (toxic to the liver) also , and the recreational effects aren’t even that great, ESPECIALLY when you add the next mornings hangover into the mix, where as there’s MANY substances that can produce very similar effects to alcohol (really more desirable properties, with less downsides) but since they aren’t used for “fun” in a regulated social manner as alcohol, if you take them your looked at like an addict, or like you have a problem. and the crazy thing is, compared to something like heroin (diamorphine) alcohol is WAY more physically (and arguably mentally) worse for the body, opioids themselves don’t have any toxicity, and could be taken daily without any effects, but because people fall so deep into addiction people that tend to use other substances (opioids particularly) would not have any health problems due to the substances but do to the lifestyle they lead, which alcohol does the same thing ALONG with physically damaging the body. not sitting here telling people to go take drugs, just highlighting the fact that some of the “worst” drugs in society are actually physically less harmful than the legal “not drug” that alcohol is. Congrats alex !
