I have felt like this for over 30 years now...not listened too and invisible. So called "friends" who cannot be bothered keeping contact yet run into them accidentally and it's all smiles and "let's catch up" ... Which of course never happens, total BS fake ass people. I'm on the autism spectrum so have come to understand that I just don't fit into their "cookie cutter" bullshit existences anyway so nowadays if I run into these people I just very directly say "Too busy" and just keep walking... cannot be bothered engaging people who are ingenuous to participate in their pointless small talk anymore

Great video I wanted to add that consumerism is now catered towards single people. For example when was the last time you were able to play a 2 player game with friends? The gaming community as a whole is robbing people of companionship. It’s about winning and being the best(battle royal style gaming). Lobbies reset each game so you’re almost always playing with a new person
