Hey man, from this im guessing you are at the chalice with the bloodechoes right ? what you have to do is go back to the hunters dream, from the lantern or with the paper. After going back you pick up the chalice and put it down again. If its another chalice you are talking about let me know :). The echoes comes from an enemy dying on their own if you go to the hall way and wait a little :D

@@hiimhugo6687 thx for responding I've beaten the blood starved beast I just don't know how to do the dungeons correctly like you were talking about in the video it's a little confusing but I do have the chalice and the blood ritual I just haven't used it yet cause I don't want to mess anything up

@@Canthatemeifyoudontknowme ahh okay, yeah just do standard chalice dungeons the first two times. This gives you the root chalice which is used for all the other stuff including the dungeon where you ahouldnt open doors :) after you get the root chalice look in the describtion there is a full walk of the path for each dungeon so its less confusing

sry bout that thought the chalices would be the confusing part so made a video showing routes in description. If you stuck somewhere before chalices you just need to continue until the chapel and then take the left turn til you see the bloodstarved beast :) hope it helps

there is a key item (i think its called a seal) that you can buy in the hunters dream from the messengers to open the door with the giant guy :)

@@ToiletDestroyer437 Been a while so i cant exactly remember, but remember to also equip the clawmark rune if you havnt. I would guess skill was about 30, since the weapon scales of it aswell but i could be mistaken

in other words, you can lvl skill up more if you want to match, since the weapon transformed form scales off of skill anyways :)

@@hiimhugo6687 yeah I have the rune equipped, I was doing 1.3k visceral damage with 30 skill points, you reckon I should go 50 skill?

Sorry man, didn't expect new players in 2023 so just jumped a bit fast into it all. If you are lost feel free to ask :) or if its any of the chalice things you think are confusing there is a full guide in the description showing which way to go for the items :)

@@MrArrwstos4 ah okay, well you should just go through the game until you find the church where a woman tells you to bring others. after that go to the hunters dream and buy the "SEAL" from the shop to unlock a gate in the next area. Once you unlock the gate and go towards the top of the stairs you will see a big boss room in the church, here instead of going in, simply follow the route to the left right before the last stairs to the church. When you reach the end you will find 1 of the most important bosses. After this go back to the woman that tells you to bring others. And now take the door with the paper message on it. It will lead you to old Yharnam, go through the area by going behind the tower with the machine gun and keep going down into the wierd village with wolfs. At the end you find another boss that gives you a chalice. This chalice allows you to enter the dungeons shown in the video by placing it at the graves in the dream area :) hope this longer explaination somewhat helps you man <3

Stats are 29 vigor rest goes INT unless you feel like you need something personally. Weapons doesnt matter since the ash of war scales of lvls and weapon lvl rather than the Attack power, so just grab a dagger for lighter weight and the ash of war: CARIAN GRANDEUR. for spirit ashes they are mostly just distraction to make your life easier, so just grab which ever you like, recomend the rot dog cuz its funny :)

that usually happens if have opened the chest before and gotten the weapon out. if you havnt gotten it before i sadly dont know why it would do that

same thing, it only appears once, if have taken it before for another weapon its gone sadly.

its just RNG, went like 8 times without getting one aswell haha but you just have to keep doing it sadly

So, Visceral attacks are scaling purely of off the levels you have, and ofcourse wether or not you have equiped the clawmark rune since it gives a big boost. Mainly "skill" gives big dmg increases, so depending on how many levels you put into it that might be why.

for the upgrades, i show briefly the places you can farm the shards, you can just upgrade whenever you want/have the shards for the next upgrade before continue farming :) and for the clawmark it is essentially this games version of rings from darksouls. You go to the hunters dream and use the tool in the end of the house to equip it, it makes your visceral atcks deal ekstra damage . hope this somewhat explains it :D

@@moerne3618 hmm not sure depends on your levels, when you use the L2 for the chikage you deal more dmg scaling on arcana so if you havnt put in that it might help, but also making sure you have a plus 10 weapon :)

Wing of astel scales better with INT than DEX so no need to level DEX beyond what’s required. Stats could look something like this : Vig 40, Mind 18, End 20, Str 8, Dex 17, Int 60, Fth 7, Arc 9. You can remove some vig/mind/endurance and put more in int depending on what feels comfortable. Beyond the usual talismans (warrior jar shard, magic scorpion, etc) you can also use the spellblade set by completing Rogier’s quest to boost the damage of the Nebula skill.

It would make the physical DMG higher on normal attacks only and wouldnt affect the casting speed. Or atleast thats how i remember it :)

I meant using dex for spell casting speed, not the R2 on the wing of astel 😊 do you know if dex increases spellcasting a worthwhile amount plz? Edit: lol I just need to use some larval tears and try. I just don't get much time out of work to experiment 🤦‍♂️😆

For this type of build i would say go for 30 vigor 25 mind and rest goes into INT unless you want tankier armor then endurance might be a good idea to avoid fat-rolling :) likewise if you feel more comfortable with more health simply invest more into health before dumbing the rest into INT
