My hp laptop crashed and i got this message"boot device not found please install an operating system" I was gonna try to fix it but the left of my screen is broken and have been that for years so inwould not be able to see the code that I need. I gonna buy a new screen but do you think my emmc is broken and if so, can it be fixed? I have a lot of important documents and so on it. I have never heard of emmc before so I dont know how good they are to restore data from.

The problem is that there is to much thermal paste on the gpu? My g15 has the black screen but with an external screen hdmi it works well :(

This was a very good video. Thank you. When I did this a lot of the tape/adhesive came off the base of the laptop and so my keyboard doesn't stick properly to the base again. Any idea where I can get this tape from? Or could you recommend a good way to stick it back down?
