Ich muss leider aus eigener Erfahrung bestätigen, dass ich meine E-Zigarette immer weiter geraucht habe. Trotz heftigem Schwindel und Atemnot. Ich habe den Schwindel nie mit dem Dampfen in Verbindung gebracht erst als ich aufgehört habe zu dampfen konnte ich wieder ganz normal ohne Schwindel und Atemnot leben. Ich habe teils Tage nur liegend auf dem Sofa verbracht, weil ich so erschöpft, müde und schwindelig war. Gedampft habe ich natürlich trotzdem und auf Grund der Langeweile dann noch mehr. Als Dampfer regelt man den Nikotinkonsum also nicht selbst unterbewusst, zumindest ist das meine Erfahrung.

Good to know these products are currently in the grey area in these countries and not outright prohibited. As long as they are available, and there isn't a campaign of misinformation, tobacco users will find their way to them.

I started smoking and drinking coffee at about the same time, at 11 years old. I envied watching my family all smoke and have a morning mug of Folgers every day. I'd ask my mom to drink coffee and she let me try a cup and drank it every day after that, within a few weeks I stole a cigarette from her pack and the rest was history. By 13 I was up to half a pack a day, lighting up my first Camel of the day with everybody else with my own mug lol.

Nikotin ist in meinen Augen nicht das Problem und auch kein Suchtfaktor! Ich dampfte zwei Jahre Nikotinfrei und habe dann eine Zeit lang eine Fertigmischung mit Nikotin gedämpft, weil ich die Geschmacksrichtung mochte und bin jetzt wieder Nikotinfrei unterwegs, weil ich die Geschmacksrichtung nicht mehr dampfen will, alles ohne irgendwelche Probleme. Die Nikotinsucht scheint wohl seltsam zu funktionieren, ohne Sucht quasi ... Obwohl es ja soooooo schnell süchtig machen soll! Insgesamt geht es mir durchs dampfen ohne Zigaretten seit Jahren wesentlich besser als zur "Raucherzeit" mit Kippe. Die wirklich gefährlichen Stoffe findet man wohl in dem, was da verbrannt wird.

Vaping is not healthier than smoking traditional cigarettes. In fact, some research has found it to be more injurious to health. I wish they'd stop pushing vaping products on smokers. Of people wish to smoke cigarettes, let them! They are adults, so they can make up their own minds. I speak as a non-smoker. An ex-smoker to be precise. Before I quit more than two years ago, smoking cigarettes was a source of great pleasure for me, as it still is to many people today. Stop this war on smoking and tobacco!

Thank you Tobacco Harm Reduction net, and Dr. Derek Yach for announcing to the globe, that using non-science-based ideologies is not helping those who smoke. That it is in fact, placing people in harm, by keeping them smoking. Smoking kills. Vaping is a harm reduction approach to reduce smoking-related illnesses, and they are the gateway out of tobacco. I agree fully these harmful and misleading statements by various professionals are causing more harm. Physicians should be advising those who smoke, and those who can't quit with traditional NRT methods should be advised that tobacco harm reduction; vaping, will help them quit smoking. That vaping is twice as effective as NRTs in creating ex-smokers. Fear-mongering, misleading, distorted messages, keep the population smoking. If the USA and UK advise that vaping is a harm reduction approach, and will help lower the smoking rates, that message should be advised on a global scale. As again, it's smoking that kills.
