I’ve been in Bigfork since 1999 and consider this to be paradise. I've lived all over the country, and I received my Civil Engineering degree at UW. Now Bigfork is Home, this wonderful community of fabulous people along with the wide variety of area amenities makes me proud to live here. I enjoy all of the hiking, boating, camping, and skiing activities that are so phenomenal in the Flathead Valley.

Isn't that wild that a humble lakefront home built for next to nothing back in the 1960s is now going for 15 million? It's one way to have 24/7 access to Glacier National Park with no bumper-to-bumper traffic and no inability to reserve a camping spot because the park is packed to the gills. Maybe for a billionaire, that's worth the 15 million. I find it pretty weird that there are no building restrictions on that 1.5 acres.

Someone selling 3 million dollar houses in bear country can afford the cost of a bag of chicken feed.
